I didn't even know there WAS a shop. I know you get money, but I thought it was pointless.

Yeah, the music box is in a chest in the room where you lose Rei (the rando girl you meet early on in the game). If you don't pick it up, you're screwed (and not in the fun way).

is there a way to turn off the damn music? it is way too fucking loud and i usually turn off the music in these games for that exact reason.

Only way I can is by using Open Volume Mixer on widows - usually right click on the speaker/headphone icon on the bottom right of the desktop -it shows what programmes are playing sound, lower the rpgm one
