This week's progress has focused on scripts, renders, and final corrections to the script already completed. Regarding the script, after finishing the boat trip portion, I had to make final corrections and additions such as music, sound effects, changing wait times, and the order of some renders. Now I'm preparing the island renders, which is a tedious but not overly lengthy process; it will probably be finished today, after I finish writing this article.

This part of preparing the renders involves organizing the files that will be the game's images. When I render images, I do so without much control or filtering. At this stage, I need to delete corrupted files (images that haven't been rendered completely or have errors) and rename the files I'll be using so they're organized. As I assume many do, when I render a new file, the name is usually something like "afdafawrccs," since it doesn't make sense to give it a final name until I have them all finished and know how they will fit together. I've also prepared the animations for Saturday's day on the island.

The corrections to the script for the boat part are also done: the outbound journey is now fully functional. It took me longer than expected, as everything in this update really does. But the sound effects, atmosphere, music, and dialogue are all done and corrected. So, once I've finished organizing the island part, I'll begin writing the central part of the update. The more I write, the more I realize how much I overdid it when it came to this part. It's endless. Future updates must be shorter out of necessity.

Regarding the renders made this week, I think they need an explanation since the end of the update will be a change in intensity and tone compared to the rest of the days on the island. On the island, the tone was calm, and despite the MC's fears, everything was peaceful. After the incident in the basement, the tone becomes more aggressive, and during the journey, fear will overtake the characters. During the voyage, a storm will hit the ship hard. And this is where the problems begin.

The ship is knocked off course by the storm, and Linda, Mrs. Bellmere's maid who was in charge of steering it, has disappeared. After a strong blow rocks the ship, the characters will reunite, frightened this time. They will realize that Linda is no longer on the ship and will only find the chair from which she steered the ship lying on the floor with a bloodstain next to it. Linda is gone; the storm has swept her away. This isn't gratuitous from a narrative standpoint.

Linda was never a character I thought I'd give importance to in the game, but her position within Mrs. Bellmere's house is interesting. And in future updates, the empty position left by Linda will be filled by another character, which will serve as a catalyst for the confrontation between the two antagonistic groups of main characters, which are not yet defined but will be one group with a majority of women and the other with a majority of futanaris.

In the next few days I'll continue with the island script and the renders of the end of the return boat trip.

This week, progress has been made in various areas. The renderings continue, and a conversation prior to the final scenario is now being rendered. The script is beginning to be refined and its functionality tested. I've also edited and coded the 12 night animations for the second day.

Starting with the renders. The conversation I'm rendering takes place in the middle of the night on an abandoned, blocked road. Two other characters will be introduced here, playing antagonistic roles. Both were previously shown in the game as a "coincidence of fate" that connects the characters' paths ahead of time. This conversation was originally going to take place in the final scenario, but I decided to add another one prior to the final scenario because it makes more sense for the story I want to tell. This scenario is simply a road with some fences along it indicating a blocked road. There, a discreet meeting takes place between Mrs. Bellmere, accompanied by the MC, and Miko Gabor. This is an important madam in the city who was involved in the MC's past and is a rival of Mrs. Bellmere's group.

The script has been tested down to the end of the written code. Being fairly linear, there are no bugs of any kind, only occasional spelling mistakes. The mechanics of switching between angles for an animation I mentioned last week work. I've adjusted it so that the icons for advancing the scene or changing the camera don't get in the way and, depending on the animation, are in one corner or the other. The files that will be included in the night of day two are already organized and renamed. Perhaps later I'll need to correct the lighting of some with GIMP, the image editing program, but that will be later.

The 12 animations for the night have been created, edited, and implemented into the game code. These scenes include some with Mrs. Bellmere (pegging), one with Linda, and the others with Mimi. Editing these animations is the most tedious part for me, and although I've found a great alternative in AI, it won't be possible for this update. I'll investigate for the next one, but so far I haven't found any online AI that can consistently create NSFW content at 720p from images. Another option is to configure an AI myself, but that would take time, and I'm already too far behind on this update.

To summarize the status of the update, I could say that the part that's holding everything back is the script, that is, the game code, which is taking me many more hours than I expected. If it weren't for this, I would have finished the update already, shortening the final part. But since I'm forced to wait for the already completed part to work, adding a couple of scenes won't delay the launch (even more). I didn't plan to add the port, road, and motel scenes when I started the update, but I think they look especially good, in addition to introducing the rest of the characters.

For next week, the plan is to finish the script for the second day and begin rendering the final scene. The final scene is an abandoned motel where Mrs. Bellmere and the MC will spend the night together. Obviously, it includes a NSFW scene, but one that's a bit different from what you'd expect from an alpha character with Mrs. Bellmere. It'll be more "romantic," so to speak, but with a sinister touch. I don't want to give too many spoilers about that part, but since it's the end of the chapter, it should be shocking.

Where are the adult images? I was not expecting it to actually just be images of adults

I checked the previous reports, and he always have that line, I think it made sense sometimes when he had some lewd pics but continued to used that header even when there's no pics lewd or not :LOL:
Probably just a copy paste thing

This week's progress has been in scripting, editing, and rendering. I've also had to spend several hours organizing the already rendered files, as I tend to make backups too frequently and had almost run out of space. The rendered files for this update weigh about 30GB before "chunching" them. After that, they'll be a reasonable size.


Regarding the script, there's not much to add. I've continued writing the night of the first day and the ceremony that takes place with Mrs. Bellmere (pegging). I've called it a ceremony because what the MC will experience on the island will function as a kind of initiation for him. Specifically, in the part I'm writing now, Mayor Zarcoty pronounces some ceremonial words that will instill paranoia in the MC's mind, making him forget his own fatigue when he notices that the mayor seems to be behaving like a cult leader.


Regarding the editing and rendering of the final part of the update, there are more interesting things to share. First, let's say that the characters the MC and Mrs. Bellmere encounter on the road are two sisters. One is a futanari, and the other is a woman. The futanari is the one who was at the club with two boys in the previous update and will become important later on due to her relationship with other main characters. Her name is Emma Harris. The woman is the same one who recruited the MC when he arrived in the city five years ago, but based on her behavior, she shows no sign of recognizing him. The uncertainty of whether this woman has recognized Mrs. Bellmere's new secretary as one of the thieves from five years ago will be a problem for the MC and his entourage in the coming days. The woman's name is Miko Gabor.


Continuing with the scene, the meeting on the road will be short because it is particularly late due to the incident at sea. After the meeting, it will be clear that Miko Gabor and Mrs. Bellmere have a deep hatred. The sisters will leave the scene heading for the city, but Alina Bellmere will decide that you will take the other route. Noticing that the MC is tired from such a "demanding" weekend, he decides to drive to the other side of the border, where there is an abandoned motel. Yes, those poorly placed fences are the border marker. Since it's an abandoned place, I didn't think it was necessary to add any more elements.


Anyway, Mrs. Bellmere and the MC will arrive at the abandoned motel, the last location of the update, to spend the night there and return to the city the next day. Lighting this place is a tricky business, and rendering this part has been especially expensive (so far). Upon arriving at the motel, there will be a couple of exterior shots, which will be almost completely dark, with only the car's lighting and a few working lights in the motel. Obviously, the final scene will be in a better-lit motel room. There, a series of conversations and NSFW animations will take place to complete the update.


In the coming days, the plan is to continue editing scenes and writing the script. The motel scenes will be something different from the current boss-subordinate relationship between Mrs. Bellmere and the MC; they'll be more intimate and romantic, but within a particularly twisted logic. I'd rather not give spoilers about this relationship, but let's just say that the relationship with Mrs. Bellmere will be (at least when they're alone) a very common one in many other NSFW games.

This week's update progress has focused on continuing the rendering of Saturday night (almost finished) and editing and rendering the final motel scene.

In the script, I've continued writing more scenes from Saturday night. This one begins with a "mad prophet" monologue from the mayor, who'd been drunk all day, and continues with the MC's thoughts on the events of what I've called the "water test"—that is, the pegging ritual over the ocean with Mrs. Bellmere. This part of Saturday night will serve two purposes: to delve deeper into the relationship of dependence and subservience that will develop between the MC and his boss, and, in the shorter term, to show the mayor's mood change from one day to the next (once sober).

The relationship between the MC and his boss will become one of the central themes of the game's future, along with the MC's relationship with his sister, Saska. The relationships will be ones of submission... but on good terms, since these characters will act as intermediaries, connecting the MC with the other characters. The next update will focus on this, introducing the central conflicts of the story.

Regarding the renders: The arrival at the hotel is brief. This is partly due to plot considerations, and partly due to technical issues: rendering in near darkness is a pain. In any case, upon arriving at the abandoned motel, Mrs. Bellmere will order the MC to go outside with the gun, disconcerting her secretary since the place is supposed to be completely deserted. Both characters will spend the night in a room on the second floor.

In this room, two long conversations between the characters will take place, along with an NSFW scene between them. There will also be a brief scene without dialogue, which will serve to show a certain reality of an area considered deserted.

Next week I will continue editing the conversations and the script for the night; hopefully, I will be able to finish it.
