I dropped the show after Season 4. It just turned into complete nonsense. I listened to a few reviews in passing interest for later seasons and thought it was hilarious that they dumped so many seasons of building Blake and Sun so that they could appeal to the toxic shippers that were basically the only viewers left. Did they really try to add in drama with Ruby not wanting Blake and Yang to be together? That'd be so hilariously clumsy that I want it to be true.

I like to think them adding the whole "everyone's so happy for you" part from Ruby was them admitting that Yang and Blake are way too up their asses to notice Ruby is actually losing her mind this season. As if her fainting at the begining of the season wasn't enough of a red flag that something's wrong, which no one has brought up since.

Then add on that Ruby is likely planning on suiciding to save everyone, and well, that's how you get Frustrated Ruby.
(Not to mention, a perfect plot point to corrupt Ruby in a porn game if anyone ever makes one. Honestly this entire season could easily be a Harem game for Jaune, or a Femdom Harem Game for Neo. No wonder there's so much Rwby porn, it's almost a gold mine of potential.)

I'm partially upset to hear how cardboard the characters are apparently, you have a decent spread personality wise and didn't use it? Plus I don't understand giving everyone similar looking builds, Emerald and Weiss are supposed to be pretty small, which is another bit of variety taken out for no reason. Feels like the game is cashing in on RWBY without any effort.
