Their Patreon has a post form Nov 8th 2024 that is titled "Announcement - 0.6 Development Status" but it's for paying only

So sounds like a delay, I would think they would have titled it differently if they abandoned development. But you can never know for sure.

Yeah haven't played the last update was waiting for the next , hopefully not a dead game and the dev just deleted their F95 account I don't see that as a big deal yet. As other dev's have done that and gone on to still develop the game.

It could be the dev just didn't want his Patreon obviously associated with his account here and uses just another name now. Or if the game didnt take off, the dev doesn't want the next try associated with a abandoned project. Its all just speculation.
Someone with a Patreon account could try and ask whats going on.
