It could be the dev just didn't want his Patreon obviously associated with his account here and uses just another name now. Or if the game didnt take off, the dev doesn't want the next try associated with a abandoned project. Not sure who 'you' is in that sentence, but if I may add to that - I think they do.
Matter of fact, I know they do because statistics tell me they do. About 15 each day, depending on what game they like.
It fluctuates whether or not there's something new to read, but trust me - some people do. But most people don't, we can agree on that!

Not entirely sure if it's good, but it's good people have different styles of consumption. I do agree long reviews need a nice tl;dr for people who can't or won't enjoy the indepth text. I can definitely get annoyed even before 10 lines if the thing doens't make sense. I get annoyed from 3 line posts, so it depends.
To each their own, right? Some people would enjoy a video review over a text review!
I love Amrfty's reviews, which brought me here, and appreciate their length. A short review lets me know if the reviewer likes the game. A long decent review lets me know if I'll like it and why.
And a long, excellent review does all that while putting the game in context, often opening the door to new finds.

I can't believe I didn't respond to this. RuneF, I just want to thank you for speaking on that.
Doing reviews like this takes way more time than I'd like to admit, but it's worth it seeing people actually are helped and enjoy the reviews I can do to help them decide whether a game is worth it.
