I have a particular fascination with animation. It feels like we're in a renaissance for this medium of erotic content. But creative freedom itself is stifled now more than it ever has been in the age of the internet, largely driven by the payment processors. It started around 2020 with right wing anti-porn groups launching a campaign against Pornhub which led to the purging of a majority of that website's content. Censorship of porn online has continued to get worse over the years. It's gotten bad enough where Japanese storefronts like DLsite have had to cut off almost all of their foreign income streams.WOAH! Are you serious? I didn't know that. Dayum... this's so fucked up.
I hate censorship so god damn much.
It's not a free market when Visa, Mastercard and Paypal control the vast majority of online commerce.hardly 1984 - private companies can choose whether or not to do business with you at will.
