This game was great at the first season, but quickly went downhill after.
Ridiculous plot points, addition of random unmemorable characters which were never mentioned of again, plus unnecessary addition of drama for the sake of keeping the plot going. The recent change to UI as well as unfleshed plot in the last season really sealed the fate of this game for me - It feels similar to how the show-writers of GoT had great source material at the start to copy off from, and then suddenly falls flat when they no longer had materials to copy from.


On a side note: This is the only game on F95 I've seen that actively has a warning against mentioning another game in the reviews. I'm not a fan of that other game, but why does it specifically only mention that game?

Version Final

it's sad that it's a Final version, else i would have given it a higher rating if it's a first release. but as Final even 3/5 seems generous.

gameplay is nonexistent. you have to watch around 15scenes in order. you cant skip it. you cant shorten it. you just have to wait it through. there are no save games if you exit you have to start over. absolutely terrible game design. just for this i should give the whole game 1/5.

scenes are fine. i like the premise. guy with a gun enters their home (ambivalent if wife hired him). and he keeps fucking your wife to make you a better husband.

dialogues are bad. another 1/5. lots of grammar mistakes too. but the dialogue is like 1min. all the other parts are scenes. all scenes are like 1-2minutes long.

sound is annoying because music is too loud compared to moans. and there are no options to change any of the sound or music.

animation is fine, and graphics are survivable. to release it in this "Final" stage is a bad joke but whatever, i probably rated it too high

This is currently one of the best games on the site IMHO.

The artwork and animations are excellent, and more than that, the story and characters are well developed and well written.

So many games are all over the map with tone, storyline, and especially character traits.

The creator here has a definite clear vision so far, which makes this head and shoulders better than 95% of the other games on this platform.

The narrative is still in its early stages, but it’s clear that the developers have laid a solid foundation with the potential for growth. The story is intriguing, revolving around an MC with a traumatic past, struggling to move on from a lost love. The game’s loyalty system, which penalizes players for straying from their past, adds a layer of complexity to the gameplay, though it can be frustrating at times when it hinders the development of new relationships.

While the game’s visual novel elements are strong, the sandbox mechanics need refinement. Navigation can be cumbersome, requiring multiple clicks to move between locations, which can detract from the overall experience. However, the developers have shown a willingness to listen to feedback, and I’m hopeful that future updates will address these issues.

The game’s technical aspects, such as the UI and transitions, could use some polishing. The textbox, for instance, can be obtrusive, but the promise of an opacity slider in future updates is reassuring. Additionally, the game’s use of multiple languages adds a layer of authenticity, though translations would be helpful for those moments.

In conclusion, “Dilemma of Devotion” is a game with a lot of heart and potential. It’s a diamond in the rough that, with a bit of polishing and attention to player feedback, could shine brightly in the sandbox genre. The developers have done a commendable job thus far, and I’m genuinely excited to see how the game evolves.

Great game !! deserved 5 star. Its is fun to play, and you have to explore difrent path. . THe choices matter alot! This guy is hard working and almost every month there is a update. The highlight of the month is to play his update to see where the story goes.

I don't usually play VNs with fem protag but I have enjoyed this one, especially due to horror theme. The renders look great and animations work well, can see they're still learning but hopefully it'll improv fuether the more they do it. It's still early, but I think the game has great potential. Can't wait to see what the dev does in the future with it!

You can expect adult topics rarely treated in this type of games like: Depression, anxiety, violence, bullying and lewd scenes, with a strong focus in the story and the characters, leaving aside the lewd scenes for when those are needed or senses good, you won´t feel forced almost any scene because the efforts the dev puts in making a natural and "realistic" AVN are notables.

What i find good:
- Slow building relationships.
- Original and intriguing characters.
- Natural and realistic environments.
- Interesting and mysterious story.
- Exceptional quality of renders and animations.
- Exceptional capture of the essence in each moment.
- Good representation of mental problems like depression, anxiety or panick attacks.

What i find bad:
- Some choices/actions feel forced by the plot, don´t letting you choose as freely as you would like (related to some characters relations or future events).

More of this, please. It's already becoming one of my most-awaited games to continue playing. Definitely deserves more attention than it is getting, though. Idk why it's not as popular as it should be, but I think it's only a matter of time. Hopefully.

the only reason i dont rate it 1/5 because at least the skills and world is working. and there are working sex scenes.
but this will never be a good game. maybe in 10years LOL. so dont bother. i will check on it in a much later patch to see if anything changed to change my rating but there is like max 1% chance that my rating will improve, it will probably just go lower.
why?

because first minute you go out there are weapons in a chest. 7 types of weapons. cool. cool? not really. if you take it all to your inventory, then you get overburdened so literally first 1minute you are overburdened by these weapons(can't put them back into the chest). which means the dev didn't test his game at all. which shows how lazy he is so the game will never be good with a dev like that.

furthermore there are hundreds of problems with the game. attack animations are all very basic and do only 1 attack. (slow and bad, and all the same)
first goblin encounter test in city they dont even have the sex scene (obviously, why would anything good be in the game)
the writing is atrocious. (at least english is more-or-less correct)
the goblins stay in the same place and whack air randomly, and if i go 3meter forward they completely freeze and cant find me (during the fight)

these goblins had 110 hp and i do like 10-20dmg with most spells and attacks.. except a spell for the battlemage which instakills all goblins lol. (bugged)

and many more bugs. this version is unplayable, sex scenes are boring, it probably deserves a 1/5 but giving 1/5 for a first release feels wrong especially since it has some sex scenes even if they are the results of really really bad writing.

Not much to it as is, but what's there is promising. The sex scene is fairly lengthy, you can choose whether or not to cuck the dude (since he actually seems fairly nice), MC is surprisingly patitent and has hints of a personality beyond "lol im horny XD".
No bugs, not too many grammar issues, no attempts at "deep" writing with zalgo text or whatever, just a simple, mostly linear experience.

I really liked the game! I am am big fan of NTR and swinging games and this one does it quite well.

The inconsistend art bothers me somehow, but the more realistic renders in the later parts are really good!

Sometimes the inner monologue is a bit too much, but the dirty talk ist very nice.

I hope this game gets updated for a while. A few more choices woud be nice.

THE GAME SHOULD BE FINISHED BECAUSE HAVE A LOT OF POTENTIAL

It’s not just a game; it’s an odyssey that leaves a lasting impression long after the credits roll. A true masterpiece of storytelling in the gaming world.

Good build up for a first release. I expect some good content for the future.

I played 4 times, for almost 10 hours, to understand how confusing the game is, the menu, the paths to take, what the means of corruption are for and how they develop, I found thousands of story bugs, plot and logic in the paths, a husband who has power in his hands over his wife's life, but who is not able to use it as he should, if you choose cheating, she plays with others, and MC shut up, despite knowing everything, if I choose no cheating , practically nothing happens, so why cheat, if while the wife is doing it, MC doesn't do anything, an action happens that the husband finds strange, at that moment he says to himself that he has to talk to the wife, then all this disappears, nothing happens, hahaha, I find a real mess of routes and menus, I discovered that if you don't repay the debt, your wife ends up working at the club, but sorry, better to have a slutty wife than shell out a similar amount, and here's something useless or poorly stipulated, the debt, or the hypnotic sequences, it is not explained whether they are useful, or are just for scenery. too much confusion and poor communication management. poor.

I gotta say, I'm loving the game so far. Apart from a few spelling errors, the writing is great, found myself grinning whilst playing. There are quiet a few hot scenes as well and the LIs are all gorgeous. Hoping to see more of Hana, I'm a sucker for tattoos. Whilst can see the list of LIs, I'm hoping I can still interact with some of the other ones that aren't on the list. Will definitely be keeping my eye on this game, Great job!

Story

In the game Princess Reconquista you play as the princess named Ish. After beating the tutorial stage the kingdom gets attacked by a neighbourhood country with which they seemed to have a peace treaty The king of your country is on a mission and took a sizeable amount of the military force with him so it's on you to fend of the invaders and safe the country. The story itself is pretty bland and generic and the dialogues mostly revolve around sex.

Overview

This game is an action platformer where slash from screen to screen with some light platforming. There are around 5 different enemies in this version of the game and one boss at the end of the demo. The platforming part is okay at best but the actual combat is really well done. You have your 3 hit basic combo at the beginning but the further you go the more you unlock, but you have to search for most of the upgrades only a small amount of them is given to you through progressing most of them are hidden in the level which is a shame because the combat system gains a lot more depth and combo potential with the new unlockable skills.

Combat

For example you can find a projectile counter that knock the enemies up and you can follow this up by a jump kick to hit them back to the ground where you can proceed to combo them. Most of the enemies at this stage don’t really have the lifepool to survive until you are finished with your potential combo and there are still some skills missing for example a good way to get out of the air with some kind of downward slash, which was already shown by the developer and maybe it’s already in the game and i just couldn't find it but I was very thoroughly. Like I already said the combat is really well done and will just continue to improve with further updates when new skills are being added.

Lewd

The lewd side is pretty okay you have an attack to engage in sex with your enemies if you have a heart symbol under your health bar fucking them restores a decent amount of hp. Bosses can also be fucked but they don't die instantly like the standard enemies and you also have to break their armor first. Each enemy type has a different animation so far there are about 5-6 animations you can look at. There is no gallery at this stage so you would have to revisit the locations you want to see the animations at. There are 5 menu artworks you can look at. 4 of them only appear if you have the heart filled under your life bar and you have to purchase some of them at the vendor. There is also a cum covered alt if you open the menu after having sex.

Sound

The sound design is one thing the game handles a bit poorly while the bgm and the sfx for attacks is done decently well the intercourse suffers a bit by sounding a lot like farts which is not that bad but it’s kind of hilarious to listen to.

Closing thoughts

I think the game is a lot of fun at it’s current state it’s a bit short but it’s a good demo to get a picture of the game and try out most of the system’s that will be available in the finished product. It also seems that the developer has great things planned for the future especially for the combat and you can already do very good looking combos if you master it. I only have like one problem with the combat so far and that is that you cant buffer your attacks and you have to either mash or learn the timings (which are not that difficult though), but apart from that it’s a great experience. I would recommend you to play it if you are looking for a action packed combo based game with light platforming to get a sneak peak of this game.
If you don’t want to spoil your fun (and the sex scenes are not worth diving into right now) wait until the full release to play it it will be a much better experience this way.

Pros

• A simple very direct story concept emphasizing incest & polyamorous.
• Kind of overly exaggerated in all sense; like curvy ladies with super short dress in public exposing the pussies, etc., though it is no logic but superb and excellent.
• Very straight forward which is a plus as well a minus.
• Excellent quality of image renders.
• Excellent quality of animations
• Playability, performance and grammar are all just OK no issue

Cons

• Sound: Almost no sound except background music.
• Lack of genuine or more of fictitious for sexuality. No logic
• Lack of seductiveness in sexual approach

But very disappointed to note that it is Abandoned

One of the better exhibitionist games and that is a main draw. the CGs are good. I really like the clothing system and a lot of the events.

Interesting game.

The main reason I give 3* is the spelling, which happens a lot here and in other games, but it isn't as bad as we understand nothing of it.

The art is great, the premise is great too.

Will follow the dev of that game for sure.
