Does anyone know why I can't get this game to run? I run the executable and nothing happens.

This is from EventViewer. Python error of some kind?

I have not seen anything like this before. Googling around doesn't give me much, but it does keep mentioning RAM.
Can you try turning off your other programs (Google Chrome for example) and try again?

No change unfortunately. I am running it in a virtual machine, so that might have something to do with it, but I don't have such problems with any other game.

This might be a stupid question, but where do you even see what day it is?
there's a calendar in the journal

Same here. Nothing happens on open, tried 0.0.30, same
Like Rakta said, you can try this:

Note: Only do this if you know what you're doing. I'm not responsible if you damage your computer.

1. Visit your %appdata%
2. Look for the folder Roaming > Renpy > CampMourningWood
3. Delete the 'persistent' file inside this folder
4. Try booting up the game now.

If this still doesn't work, make a backup of your save files, then delete the whole 'CampMourningWood' folder and try again.

Thanks, that worked! The folder in appdata was empty, but I deleted the persistent file from the saves folder and it works now.
