One person dev, NOT a fucking team! Works on this project in ADDITION to a full time job! To expect a new update every three months is unrealistic! That's all the longer it has been since the last update in January. If we are LUCKY we will see a new update by the end of MAY!!! Grow some patience and get in queue with the rest of us! We are ALL waiting.
I know this game is supposed to be a slow burn, but I think he forgot to light the candle.

Hopes Gaming has produced one of the best AVN titles ever in the DeLuca Family. It is such a great story that very few folks ever complain about the glacial pace of the sex in this game. It's just too damned good! You cannot rush art or genius, not successfully. If you do manage to rush either, you get half assed results. Have patience. These updates are ALWAYS worth the wait! And, we will get to the good sex soon enough. Meanwhile, try one of those cheap fap titles. They are a dime a dozen... oh wait... they are free too! And, they are plentiful and full of kinky sex... no discernable plot or any sense to the story but it's fap fodder. DeLuca Family is something different, something much more than your run of the mill fap fodder. If you cannot appreciate that then maybe you don't deserve this game, friend.

I wasn't talking about an update at all, and I know it won't come out after a month like hopes promised lol everyone knows it.
What I was talking about however, was the steam release, which will bring about the change for this VN to have a certain price and then it'll no longer be free on hopes patreon.
After that happens, Hopes himself said that he "can't call it a hobby anymore".

I'm doing a Discord Fanfiction story (about this game of course)... And/but I need to ask something(opinion),, Am I better(need to) add another character(which is a mobster, a cop, etc.) or not?

I'd say this will depend entirely on the story you want to write. Just avoid any self-inserty character (like "this is me in DeLuca World") those Marty Stu/Mary Sue/Gary Stu type characters tend to ruin everything.

I would say it really depends a lot of the story you have in mind. This is something what me suprised, if I would do a story (although any 1st grade scholar could do better), I would try to have the cast and the story.
If I would be unsure, then I would ask a la make it sense to have Luna, Gracie, Charvi and the MC in a coffeeshop were Luna tries to buy an ice cream and Gracie and the MC tries to talk her out of it....
