There's literally millions possibilities about what someone could be doing with their time for a couple weeks rather than zealously checking adult forums. A few more positive examples:

• He could have decided to start writing his own VN and not wanted the distraction of people asking him for mod updates constantly.
• He could have won all-expenses-paid tickets on a luxury swingers cruise for him and his whole harem.
• His Etsy shop selling his cross stitch throw pillows could have recently blown up after being featured on some popular YouTuber's channel, and so to make the most of the opportunity, he's working OT filling orders.

If you don't know, you don't have to speculate the worst.

I think he's talking about the girls / prostitutes which you are supposed to give assignments.

It's rather simple: THS is an organisation which trains girls to become slaves / prostitutes for members. By doing this, the girls get money and a chance to climb the ladder within THS, and thereby in society, like Jenny's sister did. But the girls are still prostitutes.

The MC as a new / lower ranked member / trainer in THS has to acknowledge the purpose of THS, which is a mix between a cult and an escort service. Basically at this point in the story, he's a kind of lower ranked pimp. It therefore makes sense that you can't keep THS girls to yourself.

This is also the reason why the MC is apprehensive about Angelina (his step-daughter) joining THS, but he has been promised by his higher ups that only he will have sex with her and that she'll not be required to have sex with anyone else in THS. Which is something I don't really understand because other than being a young and pretty girl, Angelina doesn't have much to offer to THS. But perhaps it's THS's way to accomodate the MC who, being a popular actor, does have quite a lot to bring to THS.
