I'm aware, I study economics. I don't see where I said "hire people" though. What I meant is they should make a name for themselves. And make it to steam. Sure, the H scenes might have to go but an 18+ dlc or a free patch solves this. Anyway, point is I've seen (and read) VNs in RenPy on the platform. Made by a single guy too. So what's stopping the devs here..?

(stuff ...)
If only they would just focus on expanding as a dev team and promoting their stuff.
(More stuff ...)
Sorry, I misinterpreted what you said there. Maybe I wasn't clear either, but I liked what your post said overall, it was just that one thing that I was criticisng (wrongly, as it turns out). I, too, would like to see this gen on Steam, even though I'm not a lover of this type of VN in general. But they did a great job of selling it to me.

I think they are not that interested in selling the game as soon as possible on steam, or any platform as they are developing the game with their patrons.
So as a player I also want to play the final version as soon as possible. But as a patron I want them to take care of their product. I love Naisha's art and animations and I don't think it's something easy to replicate. Some games have different artists, that have different styles and to be honest, that doesn't look professional to me. So I prefer they keep doing as they currently are.
Also, I understand the steam thing, I mean, not sure of how much popular they will be there or how much they would sell. But as long as I know, steam takes the 30% of the sales, and another 20% in VAT. Patreon depending if you were founder or not takes 5-10% of the income. So to me, the steam thing would be more like a promotional move.
Anyway, they already announced there will be Steam version. And I don't think they will wait until the final release to publish something there.

Wait, they did announce it? Well then, that's great news!
Yeah, I'm aware Steam would ruin much of their sales income but if they get a decent deal with a publisher it would certainly be better than patreon in terms of revenue. And just like you said... promo move.
It's just taking too long. Here since 0.10. Full release and Steam port in 2024 at best seems a bit crazy for a VN.

Long for a visual novel?
There are a lot of projects out there that started before this game with fewer scenes and poorly animated ( if they are animated ).
Imo, each update has a good amount of new scenes with a very good animation, otherwise i wouldn't be supporting these guys.
Only introspurt had a higher rate of updates with lots of animated sex, but that was insane. And now he hasn't posted anything in more than a year...
When players rush things sometimes the only they get is burning the dev.

For introspurt it looks more like they're on a big Unity tangent with Eld rather than a burn out.
Yes, that's what I heard, but the point is I don't think he could have kept that pace for so long. So I'm sure this Unity break is also helping him to rest after completing Crimson Keep.

Um, Taifun hit their patreon goals quite a while ago? I thought they would exclusively put more time and effort into content and eventually finish the project? I mean yeah, it's not a huge goal or anything and it's split in two but 4-5 years? For a RenPy VN? Come on, this ain't serious. If you're passionate about something you find a way to do it. Considering what they're making now in terms of revenue, it's not a lot. It's not like a job, far from it. Surely if they promoted their game they would be more active and release sooner.

I have not read anything after Prologue (since I want the full plot experience) but judging from the quality of H scenes it's still a rush. Just rewatch a Dynae scene from 0.10 and compare with more recent ones. There's also that one seemingly unnatural position scene that's being discussed here.
Not a fan of the gallery fades. I won't even comment on battles. Chasing invisible hearts? Strip poker flash game much?

i Dont think that they will releas it faster if they get more attention. The Art they do is for me very good and the H-scenes too. I think this quality takes some time. This cant be done faster i think

I can think of a situation that in fact CAN make a difference. Deciding on a fixed price, getting a deal with a publisher for both Shuggerlain and their previous game to make it to Steam and then having an early access or demo (the prologue) up on the store page. With enough sales it would be enough for the devs to work on adding new content (in the form of regular updates) or who knows, maybe they start making enough to quit their jobs (unrealistic). Regardless, goals are goals. Just a matter of prioritization. And it seems to me they don't do a very good job at that. Of course, that is if they'd like to grow. If they want to keep selling concepts through Patreon for literally a dollar it's fine.
Personally I'd rather pay the full price, even if a game is still in development and never comes out of early access. I've also recommended this gem to some friends who play VNs exclusively. That is 5 people just from me. Let's say that 1.5k more people know about and are willing to pay for this project to be finished, if they recommend to at least 5 more each and the game is available on Steam for a reasonable price (10$ or less), well...you do the math.
Edit: those are not random numbers but I'd assume that many people would pay for the game given the current patrons are around that number.

It remains not even a little unnatural

What are you talking about? You're just being fooled by the perspective apparently. There's nothing anatomically off about this. If you'd like to see people in this position, hop on over to the Hub if you know what I mean, and watch this video: ph5aa575204160f

Skip to 14:40. It's basically this exact position. Spine is totally normal

Aaaah I played the latest update after a long time! Damn, this game is gonna be a big ass project! I already played for a long time and it's only half of it (I think?)! The decision in Dir Klou was really tough! In terms of design, I prefer Teigan. But becoming allies with Hazel makes more sense to me, as a whole. I enjoyed both their scenes. And I didn't expect Yraselle's character evolution, it was tricky to get but Wow, now she jumped to being one of my favourites.

Dude is angry because want to play the completed game but doesn't want to wait.
Devs are not considering he won't play beyond the prologue their shitty game. Bad devs
Your logic is a kid's logic. Shuggerlain fan? More like blindly obsessing over the game and the devs lol. Learn to read. This project is taking way too long, period. If you think that's fine, okay.
Personally I was hoping for a lot more growth. They have a gem of a game here. Its main selling point doesn't even have to be the H-scenes and that's exactly how you write a great VN.
All I'm saying is they should be scouting out opportunities to branch out of itch, really.
