Well, you see, dear friend, since none of the people active in this thread are the uploader, and BaasB seems to be pretty occupied with uploading more content than a normal human can chuck at the wall, it didn't seem too likely to be fixed. Or maybe I just didn't want to ruffle BaasB's feathers.

But you are right, most people would jump straight to blaming the developer or losing their shit because something doesn't work.
Eh well. I'll shoot Baas a message later and see if we can get that fixed.

is "Connecting the World" quest bugged? The one where elf on Strelight wants you to find a composer and a singer, im guessing the composer must be the fairy in the fairy village and the singer the elf on strelight plains you can randomly meet but i've met each other several times, also talked to the quest-giver yet the quest doesn't continue at all.

You need to find the singer first which is an orc you can later find further into the story, then you can talk to the fairy and finally the elf. Idk the one in stelight but probably you're talking about the merchant

Does someone know more alcohol recipes?
There is a stupid Orc who wants to taste a unique drink, but the recipe I have are the 3 rice, 3 grapes and 3 sweet potato ones.
Or maybe you need to collect some weird grapes like Crystal Grape to make a unique drink?

Let's see here -- 20 members of a specific class or race (most people go for miners) will give you the dragon's lair or something.
If I understand, it looks like you've defeated the gate guard at the Gatnaz outpost -- so that will put you on a certain characters' radar. Recruiting her will allow more events revolving around Gatnaz to occur.
If you also have Rueme (Lueme) at that point, then a conversation will unfold for you to be able to go to the Gatnaz castle, which will begin opening up more of that mid-left side.

one change that would make this game a lot better is a auto save arfter each battle since they tent to crash offen or a quick save option so people could hit that before battles xD

When battling the Ocr soldier, the game always crashes
I always encounter her as a randomly spawned mercenary. The battle never progresses after 3-4 turns and crashes demanding a refresh.

Misante? Yes, that's how her recruitment starts. Thanks for letting me know. Unfortunately, my computer has bitten the dust and so it's not feasible for me at this time to actually investigate much. When things improve, I will still take a look, but that doesn't really fix things for you now.

Just like with the outpost guard though, if you can overpower her quickly, you may be able to avoid the bug. I assume she can be put to sleep or stunned, which might delay the routine, but obviously I can't say that with any degree of certainty. It didn't happen during my fight with her, and I THINK I took longer than that.

I'm not using the custom fix version. In addition I think I used AkiraTepes' fix posted somewhere in this thread about action priority.

Before I lost that computer, I was using auto battle to destruction to actually test to see if glitches happeneed, and I only saw one crash when I didn't. Having said that, given that I was fighting orcs at the time, it's looking increasingly likely that there might be an issue there. There's definetely more than one problem, though.

Please accept my humble apologies for my inability to fix things up in a timely manner.

Um, also, I take it that the crash is just the same "meta of null" thing?

Does anyone know what you need to unlock the area directly above Gatnaz Town and Castle? Or is this an area you can't unlock until you progress the story further? For clarity, I'm at the part where you have to go and kill the Daemon in its castle.

Doglas, since I said at some point in the course of this thread that I would at least attempt to fix things, it just causes me a little bit of consternation that I cannot do what I had hoped to do by now, you know? By the time I get around to deducing the actual issue, most everyone will have either managed to finish the game, or write it off in rage. SInce this was the series that made me develop rabies and begin learning Japanese, it carries a very personal weight for me.

But thank you, friend. I hope that you have managed to become strong enough to take out Misante by now without much fuss. If you've had to give up, then my dearest apologies there, too. The good news is, the other installments in the series should not have these issues.

Uhh, I don't have the files in front of me, but thanks to someone's picture in here, I believe above Gatnaz there's a volcano and the salamander village? I'll edit this post when I check for sure, but I believe someone else in here said five salamanders or so should unlock the village and probably the mountain. (I don't remember where salamanders are right now). While you're at it, if you haven't unlocked the dragon's den, 20 miners will fix that up, too.

On a last note, this would be a lot to ask, and I meant to do it sooner.
Over on the steam page, people are complaining that the game is terrible because half of them haven't picked up the missing files yet. I uhh, don't have a steam account so I can't go upload them to a thread, myself.

If anyone winds up bored enough to throw the files at the people on the steam forums, that would help me a lot.
Thank you very much.

I figured it out. There is indeed a volcano there, and opening it up is locked by story progress. Hilariously, you can open up the Salamander village before you can actually open up the volcano for some reason. Which is all sorts of weird.

You get 4 new locations after you beat the Demon Lord. and I believe the last bits of the map are related to these 4 locations.

I'll maybe put an update up about some things once I've gone further.

On a different note... It feels like I'll beat most of the game before I even come close to being able to build ONE of those legendary items... which makes me question what purpose they serve. I hate it when games do that tbh. Making cool stuff that you have nothing to use them on.

Oh, and speaking of annoying things. Apparently, some pieces of equipment give you learnable skills... but they don't mention that in the description. That's all sorts of bullshit. :/

Well, given that salamanders can be recruited before landing in the volcano, I don't think it's that weird. You could think of it as stopping by the salamander village to pick up supplies before dropping into the depths.

It's been about 6 months? I think, since I beat the optional final-final boss, so I'm not even sure how long it's been since I smoked the one I think you're talking about. I think I'll compile all the notes from here and format them and send them to Baas, later, so people can reference everything quickly if they come this way.

For the legendary weapons, I suspect that that's kind of one of those things that the developer assumed that the community would pool together and discover and share around the recipes. I'm not saying it was a good thing or not to do, but I feel like given the large number of items in the game, and the obscurity of many of the hints, that was the plan. I didn't actually expect there to be a wiki for this game because it's so unknown, but there is, probably exactly because of that.

I still have not been able to go through and see where certain parts of the translation are messed up, even if it doesn't look like they are. It's pretty perfect in most parts, but some are questionable. There's several bits of as-far-as-I-know-player-visible untranslated dialogue, but I think it's in a place very few people will land? Or the dialogues themselves require hyper specific triggers? So if we assume that, maybe some hints were lost in the final push to release this.

I never made any legendaries, myself since even though I could see the recipes while translating, it didn't feel right to use them. It's totally reasonable that would bother you, though. The optional final-final boss can respawn though, I think, if that's any help, and more firepower during those battles is always good. At the same time, it's probably a lore thing on top of the fact that they are hopefully nice weapons.

Lastly, what do you mean? If an item has a skill to teach, it should say. Could you give me the name of one of the items in question?

Y'know, I've seen in this thread that bosses are supposed to respawn, but the only bosses I've seen respawn are the bandit camp boss and the Unlooted Fort boss. Every other boss I beat so far doesn't seem to ever respawn. The story specific bosses make sense. Everything else though? Not so much... makes me wonder if perhaps I triggered some new kind of bug...

ANYway.... as for items that grant learnable skills but don't show it in the description at all. I've found two so far. Both are basically post-game/epilogue items, but there may be more that I just didn't notice for some reason or another. One is Lera Dress, which grants the White Princess skill, which is an instant use skill that doesn't take a turn, which makes the user apparently invulnerable to most forms of damage for a turn. The other is the Stelights Focus, which grants the user the World Tree's Blessing skill, which grants the whole party resistances to Fire, Wind and Ice. Both are high cooldown skills, but the first one especially is extremely useful for certain combinations, especially since Protect and similar skills don't seem to work against all AoE skills/spells, so it doesn't matter how much of an epic tank you turn Mamo or someone else into.

As for the legendaries, I'd prefer to get the recipes elsewhere if I could, rather than puzzling it out... I only have so much time and energy for this game after all. It's been pretty fun, and Shiro is definitely a better Rance, but at the end of the day, this is more of a game with some hentai added to it, than a hentai game.

I normally don't double-post, but this is seriously triggering me.... How do I unlock this area? Is it a specific number of people in a job? Race? What? I have the friggin' final dungeon on the damn map and this area is still missing...

That's so weird, that's the black garden. Well, I say that's the black garden but I'm double checking now.
I'm surprised you don't have it by now. I would think druids or devils. I'll be back to you with an answer as soon as I can.

Edit: If that's the black garden (still checking), the only reference I can find is to a druid girl and what I assume to be a devil guard in town, so that's probably the trigger. I'll update this later if I discover anything else!
