Most of the time, file issues result from a failed extraction or a missing RTP. If memory serves, there should be no need to change system locale to Japanese (or emulate it). Only matters for the encoding/decoding.

If you're on Android/IOS/MacOS/not-Windows, then it's an emulation issue and your best bet is looking for help in that community.

I believe the dude is still doing other translation, and when he got time he will continue to work on this game TL? IDK how long it's been since he declared the TL project for this game. Hope to see some news soon.

The fact that this game has been here this long with no proper translation is criminal. In the meantime (probably forever), does anyone have any other translated games like this that they know of?

Completely agree, there is a guy out there who do very good and understandable translations with MT, but I think he needs the game in Japanese to do it.

I also saw that someone made a launcher to make translations with ChatGTP, but I don't know how good they are.

Played this one and it is a pretty decent RPGM style game. Character develops along with the game play bit by bit. The animations are done well and character reactions/writing is done well. I'd recommend it to those who are looking for a streamer giving you the content you can't ususally actually get.
