For anyone asking for the walkthrough he couldn’t finish it today
Bummer, I'm gonna need it. It's been a while since the Syfa confrontation and I don't remember who "the one who helped Syfa" is or if we even found out and couldn't find anything in the Sanctum.

Nuh uh sorry not reading the spoiler.

If it is for the murder it must be dealt with your wit and mind no Walkthrough, if not what’s the point of playing it?

For the porn. The story and gameplay by itself isn't worth playing detective with vague quest descriptions and the dev knows this, which is why they make a walkthrough and added a cheat book in the first place. Besides, I can't use my own wit when I can't remember what happened between updates for a particular scene which was such a very small part of over almost 70 hours of gameplay.

I mean sure then just grab a save file and skeem through the walkthrough for every sex scene since then there is no point inplaying it.

Which is not, since he actually spent half of those 4 months writing dialogues, plot points and especially making the murder case, he cares too much about his story and overworld. (And delayed the update for writing aspects)
Walkthrough is there to help clueless players along the way and cheats for some that just want to half the grind and get to the point faster (or just to mess with the game).
And even then Chyos has plans to polish more content in terms of gameplay and grinding spike, but saying that he didn’t care or knows that his “game” isn’t worth playing it’s a complete misunderstanding.

That is understandable

Does this update conclude the entirety of the Monastery arc with most if not all of the planned scenes for the Nuns?

I'm 90% GOOML is referring to the far earlier interaction with Syfa during the Church initation ritual as the item of confusion.

That prompt is referring to whether your sided with Syfa or Mira in the Church initiation finale; specifically, if you took the prompt that said something like "Now it all makes sense" to Mira after Syfa tries to spread dissension about Mira and Aidolen - to me that would qualify as the 'one who helped Syfa'. Other than this, perhaps the choice matters when you first arrive at the monastery and examine the runes on the floor - whether you summoned her or not.

Indeed. The new quest mentioned to find Syfa's collar. Then some vague dialogue about checking the sanctum, which I don't see it anywhere... there's even dialogue about not finding it. Then, there's also vague dialogue about "the one who helped Syfa" which is who I'm assuming helped her escape.... after that, I dunno. Not really a lot to go off of here.

Ok... Just hope Chyos don't follow the same steps of the dev of Renryuu Ascencion and lose the way adding grind things over grind things. This update, dont know why, give me bad vibes. I dont wanna bad vibes from one of the few games i follow. Lets we all hold hands and pray to Athia.

I never said he didn't care. I was saying he knows there are a lot of people (like me) who do not appreciate RPGM grind mechanics, and thus, the cheat book is there. And I commented that the gameplay as well as the story, are not worth it (for me) without the porn when you need a walkthrough to figure out much of anything due to the very vague quest descriptions. There are obviously people who cannot always tell the devs intentions within the game and are even in this thread asking for help. That, alone, says enough.

Anyway, I still enjoy the game. I'm not even saying it's bad. But there are bad aspects about it that could be improved.

The Cheatbook may also work to reduce the RPG mechanics but it's intension was to speed up the initial grinding as it was included after former save games became invalid once before.
If you combine dialogues, with the Questlog you should find 99-100% of the Quest related stuff easily, the Walkthrough is pretty much only there for the scenes that require a certain ammount of Affection and/or corruption scores.

I don't know what kind of story is entising for you but given that the game is both driven by gameplay and story I wonder what makes you stay around considering that you hate both.
