Mini review - putting the review here because I can't honestly give the game more than a couple of stars in present state and that would be cruel to a v0.1 release, but I want to give some feedback.
The Good:
- the writing (when you can find it) it pretty good. The porn logic is not too extreme, the escalation is slow and teasing.
- the video clips are something new that I haven't seen before: a whole series of non-sexual situations with the same "stepmom" actress. this is a massive improvement compared to most other twineHTML+realporn games which normally have random and disconnected videos with a variety of different actresses.
The Bad:
- the grind is about 3x too much + it's coupled to a stupid timebased click game. okay, sure, i'll do the laundry and clean the kitchen and the pool... but having to do that for 5 days straight to get to the next "talk"? and then another 10 times "freelance work" to get the $200 for an event? It's just too much.
The ugly:
- bugs. lotsa lotsa many bugs. This game **really** needed the dev to actually do a playtest before releasing, let alone a closed alpha playtest by some other people.
Summary:
- thank you dev for making the effort to create a game. too many people on this board don't appreciate the effort required.
- i like the writing, I just wish I could read more of it without hating the gated progress to get there
- the consistent actresses in the videos are great, an actually new thing for this genre.
- please playtest the game yourself before release. Yes, it's a v0.1 release, but there's easily 1/2 dozen game breaking bugs that would have been caught.
