The first time I played through the Underwell part I remember thinking "Huh, too bad we don't get the option for Sparkle to go through with the blowjob, because this would be the perfect setup for an interesting scene". Then later I realised this is just what this game does, it often teases the possibility of a sex scene without actually giving us one. This doesn't happen all the time of course as there are obviously quite a few sex scenes, but there have been many times where the game made me think something interesting was about to happen (or could happen), only for it to then fizzle out and nothing ends up happening.
Going back and adding scenes to those points in the game sounds like a great idea to me, in theory at least. But why bother when you're just gonna go for the absolute bare minimum? Two renders, that's it..? Well really only one but viewed from two angles, only for it to get interrupted before it gets interesting anyway.
Maybe it sounds like I'm nitpicking, but I feel like that's the perfect example of time that would've been worth more if spent elsewhere. This just serves as more empty teasing to someone like me who decided to replay the game, reaches the Underwell, thinks "oh nice, he added a scene here", only to then be disappointed after clicking past the second image..

seems like there's some discontent about how slowly the plot is progressing update to update. And that makes sense, I also find that frustrating, but it's not a problem that's really possible to fix, Not with the game as it is.
This is the unavoidable consequence of committing to actual player freedom! This is a game built so the player can make choices with real narrative consequences, where the world responses and reacts to your decisions in a way that gives those choices real weight.
...And when you do this with your story it means having to write it will take you a billion years, and if you want to have readers following your story in real time as you write it they will get annoyed and have trouble maintaining investment.
if readers get to effect the narrative that means you have to write every way the narrative could be effected! every plot point you add to to the story needs to get written like a dozen separate times! For this game to be genuinely finished with no corners cut, the dev's either going to have to hire a dozen people or still be working on it in his 80s

While that's definitely true, the amount of progress being made here is utterly pathetic. It's been ages since I've last played this game, and from where I last left off to the current "end of update" screen, took me about 30 minutes (if that) and ended with a sad slideshow of placeholder renders...
After such a long time of not playing this game, I think most people would expect to see at least a bit more than that and some half-assed flashback bathroom slideshow that contained zero dialogue except for a few words on a black screen at the end of it.
I can appreciate the difficulty of developing a game with as many impactful choices as this one, but every time I come back to this game all it does is convince me that having this many branching paths was a terrible idea. Yes, the game might have a ton of content overall, but what's the point when all of it is spread out over a million different paths.
All that does is cause the average playthrough to feel incredibly lackluster, with many of the sex scenes consisting of barely 2 renders since he has to render every scene many times over, taking into account all the possible choices, character appearances and even genders.
Top that off with all the missed opportunities and this is just starting to get ridiculous. The man has created so many great setups for interesting scenes and barely utilizes any of them. Some of them are so blatantly obvious that I felt like some kind of sex scene must be incoming, but then nothing ends up happening as the game just brushes over it.
At this point this game is nothing more to me but a project that used to show an insane amount of potential, right up until the point where the developer dug himself one of the deepest holes I've ever seen in this genre of games.

We don't tend to like those "many guys", either. Believe it or not, there's still men out there that properly frown upon casual sex, without a double standard. We've been shown a girl that was basically being abused and treated as a slave by the group, and the "I have to save her" instinct kicked in. That's her appeal. Obviously, when you then reveal that she's not a saint either, having engaged in casual sex in the "real" world, which isn't hypersexual, unlike the "game" world, that's gonna sour the illusion. I personally wouldn't complain about it, just sigh, shrug, and leave, but I feel him. It's a slight kick in the nuts.

Which means they are single, and aren't spreading STD's, which is usually done with protection or frequent testing. Just because someone enjoys sex male or female, and they do it casually sometimes, doesn't make them a slut or whore. That's called being a healthy human being more than anything. Also the only people who usually are against it are people who are actual incels, cause they're envious, or people who grew up religious or had a strict cultural upbringing and are taught it was a bad thing growing up.
So yeah, you probably grew up believing this already, whether do to being religious or growing up in a stricter culture, or maybe you are just envious of sexually active people like I mentioned.
