They also said it was because the patrons weren't posting bug reports. Please do so
Well that's unfortunate. There are lots of players that only see alpha and beta versions as demos and completely ignore the debugging aspect. Or perhaps NC's coding skills are just that good? :LUL:

Anyway, I was planning on skipping it until at least beta but now I'll see if I can catch some bugs to help him out.

Okay, either I'm stupid or I just found the first bug.
I have to press “craft” right? but nothing happens.
That would be really sad if the first game breaking bug was already in the tutorial

The crafting system is still a bit twitchy. I got it to work, but the cursor box isn't exactly on the "Craft" button.

Clicking on the "Max" button for the ingredients seems to get you past the momentary hiccup.

I personally am looking forward to the future of what NC has planned for us, and I hope you are too!
I hope you can forward this feedback if you think it is worth mentioning and/or haven't mentioned already

- Limiting rewind and skip options or simply blocking ESC feels too restricting. I love Renpy because of that and it was kinda sad to see this change.

- I suggest putting cooking "tutorial" to next day. Fighting tutoral/fight > few scenes > another tutorial feels kinda overwhelming even tho it is nothing complicated

- Clearly a lot of effort went in to those animations and other stuff but having to wait them (work animation, mini game etc) all the time feels clunky.

-City might be a bit confusing, buy maybe part of the blame sketches. And entering the home from the map shouldn't take 5 clicks.

- Sorry but mod system is mostly pointless. There may be some good man-made stuff but mostly it is not official level and I don't think it worth the effort you put in to it.

Overall there are a very visible improvements and color, but sadly the game feels a bit more clunky :/

Thank you for the feedback abada25!

- I can unlock the ESC button, but the issue might occur when the player saves the game in the middle of an interaction, and I don't want to get any bug report because of that

- Hmm... I guess I can work with that since I will rework the crafting and the inventory mechanic

- I'm not sure what you mean by that, but there's a skip button for that, if you mean something else, please tell me! ^^

- And yeah you're right, I will put an option to instantly get inside the apartment room/ outside the apartment (Cuz later there's an option you can do inside the apartment, so I can say that the "5 clicks" are a preview of the apartment)

- The thing about modding here is that so people or even my own mod can be applied to the game without you having to redownload the whole game!

Please do give me more feedback so I can improve the game and make it less clunky and more stable! ^^

Agreed, I was messing with the function before, trying my own "crafting mechanic" and its bad xD
I will rework it though!

Thank you for trying the ALPHA Preview!

please give me more feedbacks for the game ^^

I highly doubt my coding skills are that good xD (pro programmers gonna flabbergasted when they see my coding logic 100%)

but yeah, I'm still messing with my new coding logic, and hopefully... it went well...!
(ngl it took me 3 times to revise the systems to make it take less performance o_O)

Mod system has only been out for a day. Otherwise we'd have some form of full sex already.
It reminds me Witch Trainer: Silver, with how similar systems are. Sure there were some good mods, I even made some. But after a while it just stops and quality almost never reaches official levels.

Thank you for the feedback abada25!

- I can't say anything other than "It feels clunky not being able to skip, rewind or save/load" and I guess it is up to you to consider pozitives and negatives. Personally, it is a big negative.

- I generally think tutorials should be small/fast in those games with the ability to see it again. Maybe you can just make a single screen with all the information, then you can put a question mark in the corner if player want to see again, like image below. Most ppl know what to do if this is not their first game anyway.

- I meant those animations

1704376669976.png

Yeah it looks good at first but waiting this daily at the start/end of the job (and some other things like fights probably) will be annoying for sure.

- I just want make one suggestion about the map, support it with decisive colors. Like put somewhere some pink neon lights and if I move to next screen make sure I will know where I did came from easily by seeing that pink light.

- I love the modding as a system but it is a fact that quality never reaches official levels on those games (even this official mod is an obvious downgrade tbh) and even if initally make players create some stuff for it, after first excitement goes away it turns in to a desert. Not to mention if you ever need to change mod system (lets say you fixed that performance issue you mentioned) this might break older mods which is even more discouraging to create. I am talking from my experience of what I saw in "Witch Trainer: Silver" modding.

Honestly you could've just create some mini events time to time and gift people patreon tiers, then add winner's clothes to the game yourself. This would save you from mod-related bug hassle as well.

----

Few more small suggestions ^^

- Lack of skip option make the game feel more grindy as well. If I am going to pat hair 5 times for example, without skip it takes longer and overall feels like a more grindy game for no reason.

- I think what you preview and what you buy should be same, I think currently it is a bit confusing for no reason.

- On Wardrobe, make "Equipped" more visible with a colorful bar

1704378510640.png

- Whole Save/Load button should work, currently it reacts to your mouse but has no functionality. Just make it like this?

1704378418696.png

- I think Energy is the most important thing to show here. You can keep money (and others?) as well but energy definitely should be visible all the time.

1704378649639.png

- White screen after clicking this makes me blind ;(

1704379358329.png

- If there is nothing I can do, simply don't let me enter into bathroom. Say something like "I have nothing to do there".

I guess thats all I can think as a small stuff right now. I hope it helps :)

Lastly I just want to say that I think you can make first 1-2 days feel better by throwing some stuff to later days. Like skipping food making and just buying first few days, or buying clothing after 4-5 days etc. Currently it teaches everything first 1-2 days and you directly enter a loop, but with change it may feel more organic like

Met with the girl > 1-2 days of talking loop > Conversation about homemade food > 1-2 days of talking and cooking loop > conversation about clothing > ...

Instead of learning everything in first 2 days and then playing a loop next 5 day, you can spread it to the whole week.

Good luck, potential is there ^^

This is such a buggy game (build v0.3), but also looks promising once the bugs get sorted.... Willy keep an eye on it due to how different it is and hope it improves with time.
Main issue I have is not being able to load the save with easy when I try to load it later, as the game makes me play it from the start, until I can access the mains options, very annoying that!
