I was discussing suggestions and making some of my own. Among them it was the possibility for some of the female characters to become futas for some scenes.
The big tier patreon, JazzaB from that screenshot i think, did not like this. Said it made no sense and it broke the immersion or something, cause it was too illogical or whatever. So we started discussing it.

There is a Manticore, able to turn into a humanoid monster called Kia, that has a futanari variation to her lesbian scenes. She is a magical being that can just decide to grow a dick, for reasons. I mean she can shapeshift from being a huge ass monster to a human. So growing a dick does not sound that impossible.

The Jazzab guy dislikes Futanari very much apparently. So he starts arguing how that would make no sense, ruins the setting and so on. I point out how we already have Futanaris, since the Kia exists, so if she can grow a dick, other characters can too. Maybe they can extract the magic from her and make a Futanari potion or something.

The guy really, reaaaly did not like the suggestion and went on bitching about it. Conversation went on for like 15 minutes or something, with him opposing this and me reminding him, that i am just making a suggestion and that i am not that much into futanari. Topic came out randomly while talking about other stuff anyway.
Him being 50$ tie patreon though, the devs stepped in to say no Futa potion is gonna happen, how it would violate the canon and so on. Years later i still laught about it from time to time. That was one my first dumbest discussions on the internet ever.




Anyway, here a reminder abouthow old the reusable Cgs are. The funny thing is that some have not being used yet, same for the last modulars one of the Cage set. Further proof that the programmer is not really good at this.

They have been brainless for a long time, this is normal theme with futanari slave packs new monsters in the end new quests dedicated to, say, the people of elves geng bang sabia with cats poor ending with avion in the city of minotaurs in Naltan Sabia feeding calves no instead repeatable graphics with green squares and eight-bit tits and the potion of foot is not canon yeah what's here I also hope that the game will be abandoned because it has already fallen quite low

This kind of plays into my thoughts that even when Hreinn makes a good decision, they often do it as a mistake and not for the right reasons.

In this case, i think implementing the futa potion idea would be a mistake, but not because of theme, after all, half of the fantasy games get away with a scene like this. And not doing it because a $50 patron said so is definitely the wrong reason as well.

So why no potion then? Because KoD already has about 24698 things set up that was either only used once then dropped or we never even got to see it in the first place. I'm personally not against a scene like this, but it definitely would have lasting implications and i just can't see it being a good idea when some set ups have been unused for more than half a decade.

Here i started to write a needlessly long list of stuff we've been waiting for, but you know them at least as well as i do, so i just deleted it.

And there are way more. Remember the armor rework? Was there ever a scene when the skimpier version of the leather armor is used? How about the slave armor? They showed the groping and the reusable assets to it and i've been trying to find them, but couldn't.
In almost every scene they strip Sabia down completely at once just so they don't have to bother with clothing variations for sex, yet there is still no option to walk around naked or show her boobs in the maid outfit or rags.
And of course, even after the last 3-4 patch has been about nothing else but Sabia being absolutely covered in cum for hours a day, her infinite bar of soap and infinite clean water bath gets her cleaned up for the conversation 2 minutes later.

I'll stop ranting for now, but it just blows my mind how talented Nomo is at these things and how well they worked at the start of KoD and in NN, yet somehow someone lead him astray.

To be honest: At this point I have sincere concerns about Nomo still being even part of Hreinn.
Especially after the insights into their Discord which Great730 provided us.

As an individual, Monsinne has my condolences.

As a dev however, Hreinn currently has a coder with apparently questionable track record, a writer, who (understandably) is currently distracted and an artist of whom we haven't heard anything for almost a year.
The players and more so the patrons will need to get some solid information in this dev post.

It would be fascinating. They still have roughly 500 Patreons, would the remnants of Hreinn (that, as far as I know, without Nomo would consist of no-one linked to the original plan and the "original" Hreinn Games at all) be so... flexible to keep milking Patrons even without an artist, lying through their teeth to get all the extra income they can get before the entire thing dies?

Does Nomo have any socials or the like?

He has a HF page that apparently he hasn't visited since last april, and there is a link, still titled as "twitter": /NomoArt
But i don't know if he has been active there. Can't check it.

Honestly, i'm kind of worried about that.
The last news about Nomo was in June when it was said that he wanted to improve something about the Vehlis-bad-end quest pictures, but even that was written by Monsinne. Picarto has no time stamps, so unless someone saw him on discord or something, then we really have not seen a trace of him for a year now.

I don't want to jump to the worst case scenario and i do wish Nomo to be well, but this does not look good.

This is my fanfic mod, updated to work with this and (hopefully) all future versions of the game. Simply start a new game and you'll get a menu asking if you want to look at my fanfic scenes or if you want to start the game proper. This is the final version of the mod and if it breaks in the future (shouldn't happen unless they make major changes to the code) I won't be updating it again.
