I don't understand how to take Caitlin to earth to get her glasses. I'm around game day 81. Caitlin and I went to Earth and ended in a cage a while back. She mentioned she was having difficulty reading her books. Nothing about it since. One of the headings is "Eager Student Ch 5", then "This student needs a pair of glasses - Proceed with her main storyline". Nothing more has happened. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

If I remember right, might be wrong since its been awhile since I played, you have to collect enough money before you can buy her glasses. Check the dresser in the MC's room to get enough money.

Yeah, it's random, so that'll happen. It's very frustrating if you haven't been doing it frequently.

A tip for the needy: the seed for the RNG that determines if you get money is set when you click on the dresser. If you don't get money, you can roll back and try again. This takes about as long as letting MC finish his gormless train of thought and doesn't waste any daylight.

I spent the whole day searching the dresser, but found no money.

Thanks!

You can also get $100-200 or so after a certain point in Rae's storyline, after she pawns a certain item. That pretty much ensured I never had to grind for glasses money.

One more user here who can't get the christmas event to trigger - it's in my quest log but Naomi and Cait are never in the same place anymore. Waited through weeks of in-game days and they will never read together.

The Christmas, and by extension Halloween, events are tied to your computer's calendar. In other words, go offline and change the date.

I did. That part is working.
The quest in-game that actually starts the event is added to my log but is impossible to start because the other conditions to start it can't happen anymore.

ZanithOne Hey, so, the Lyriel being horny scene seems to be bugging out for me, and triggering constantly.

After some digging through the code, and some testing, the issue seems to be that any time I load a save, the "day_number" for the "lyriel_generally_horny.base_prompt" RoomTrigger reverts to 381. Like, I check before it triggers and it's 381, then after it triggers it's 451 (current day +10), save the game, load the game... and it's back to 381.

Nothing else seems to switch it back to 381, just the reload.

Mixdrop is not a safe website it downloads shit to your device in the background as you open it, stop using it.
I can't speak to something like Android, but nothing will get downloaded to your desktop or laptop as long as you don't click on anything in the new tabs that the site tries to open. But if you're going to visit a site like Mixdrop where you know tabs / new windows open, you can always set your browser to block those. Pretty much all browsers provide this option, so there should be no reason for them to show up in the first place.
It's usually under something like a Privacy section, Site Settings, or similar within the browser settings. You'll want to look for something like "Tracker and Ad Blocking", "Content", "Third-Party", or things along those lines. It varies from browser to browser, so you can either search within the browser settings screen or do a web search to see instructions.

And even if you forget or can't figure out how to change those settings, you still aren't forced to click on anything. Just have Ctrl + W (or Command + W) ready and when a new tab opens close it immediately. Click Download again and close the new tab again. Just repeat until when you click Download the file actually begins downloading. (And if any final new tab opened, obviously Ctrl + W it again so it goes away.) I find I need to close probably between 5 and 7 tabs that open before the file starts downloading.

I do think the staff here should revisit whether Mixdrop should be an acceptable mirror site. Still, there are other mirrors to use as well, so just steer clear of Mixdrop if you're worried.

Even without those setting ublock origin does the trick. The only thing that opens for me on the site is the dl. The only reason I don't like it is because it's slow as balls.

install any antivirus and try
I have Antivirus running and I know what false alarms are. I also checked search engines and there is no definitive proof backing up your statement. If you make a grandiose statement you should be able to point us to some evidence. My Antivirus sometimes warns me about Mixdrop but most of the time it does not, any links from any site can be compromised.

Are some links from mixdrop compromised I Guarantee some are but I also can say the same for any other download aggregator.
