Hey, just wondering i've finished everything except for the achievements. I'm missing in the general section the "man of the house" achievement, the MC one is not checked out. Any ideas?

Have you checked that all the achievements have a green check. I missed it once because I didn't do both movie dates with Ashley with max score. Also have you done all the beroom scenes with Veronica?
I haven't used a walk thhrough so I'm not sure where it ends but this is what I did for v0.8.4 hope it's useful

Fair enough... don't know how much has changed in total since the 0.8.2 walkthrough... last i played i got a progress lock in 0.8.0 i think...

How do I trigger the news cast about the superhero? The family has talked about it but in the evening, only mom's on the couch for the footrub. Or does it happen on another day?

Ok, what does the achievments state? Have you got got the first one about listening to Debby talking to the reporters?
Which achievement?
When does that reporter stuff happen? Because I don't want to miss the trigger again, I read in both walkthroughs that after hearing it at the breakfast table at 9 AM, I see a news report at 9 PM about it.
So far, I can't interact with Debby at all. I picked Veronica up from the station but when I click on Debby at the gym, the MC simply says he shouldn't disturb her.

I think I have the sequence now. you have to work out with Debby at the gym till you get the hint to check out what she's doing at the police station. Then talk to Megan at the coffe bar, then Veronica and back to the police station to overhear her talking to the reporter. Then the Angel path will open. I hope I have remembered it correctly.
Whenever I click on Debby at the gym, I get the message "I'd rather not bother her." Is there something else I have to do first?

So how far are you with Debby? Check the first achievement. You need to have done the first two before you can work out with her.

I think you have to go back to an earlier save and play over again and please follow the hints given, so that you don't miss anything. If you progress too far with one character you might miss the trigger for another.I have none so far, I can't get to trigger any
That's what I did. Ashley's hint said to watch movies and say goodnight to her, the mom's said to rub her feet and both Debby and Amy only ever had "Improve Relationship with Veronica" as hint.
I just want to make sure that I don't miss the event. Or does it come later? In the Grindthrough the "event" in front of the police station happens on Day 85
I haven't even discovered the cafe on the map yet, but Emma is already there (though I found her myself and didn't hear mother talking)

Maybe this can help you. It's not definitive but it gives you some help in addition to the hints in the game. When it comes to Veronica just keep doing the things you are doing with her and things should move on.
