Well, we all known that there is the ellie_bitch variable in the scripts, which I am sure could be one of the Ellie's character development variable. But, I am not sure if L&P is entirely talking about that, also could be the Ellie's lesbian variable development too.

That's on Play day 16 which is 5 years away. Seems like there is hetero scene in the future between Logan and Sophia where Sophia proves to Ellie that Logan is never going to to faithful to her in a relationship. Sophia will sacrifice herself to save Ellie
