embarrassingly I did find that menu after I asked XD, what was confusing me was guns have accuracy and impact, not sure what impact does. I figured it did what accuracy did, but no idea now.
impact might be what the other guy said or it's AOE (not really sure) or both. But I've seen weapons with low impact (1) to have no aoe and weapons with higher impact hits larger aoe.

Impact means how many units you can hit in each shot, less impact means less unit you can hit on each shot. Hunting Rifle has the highest impact on each shot on straight line BUT they are useless against surrounded enemies while Twin Handgun and Shotgun have almost 360 degree coverage on each shot (their blindspot is Vertical tiles on top and bottom from your firing position)

Its quite different with Assault Rifle because they can hit units one space above the target which counts as 2 units when they lined correctly, handgun cannot shoot like Assault Rifles did due they only can shoot one target only. Try using the Airsoft mini-game to see how Handgun and Assault Rifle behavior when enemies hitting the crystal cores, you will see that assault rifles can shoot the Crystal even though they shoot below the target but it still connect due unique hitbox.

The plant boss is the first "wall" (boss that stops your progress by virtue of difficulty) boss. There are many wall bosses here and everytime you beat one you get better skills (not actual skills but your player skill) at the game. Are you playing on normal (gamer) difficulty? Stock up on healing (max is 9 IIRC on gamer) so you can heal in the fight. Practice the parry timings and don't forget to run and dash attack the boss to maximize openings.

Anyone got any tips for beating the stupid bike minigame?
Damn minigame would be so much easier if it gave infinite ammo for the desert eagle.

Did anyone get anything for beating that bike minigame in one try?
Reloaded my save and beat the minigrame on the "first attempt" but didn't get anything.

It counts for the "beat the game without dying" achievement which will get you more points to spend on the NG+ mode. Beyond that nothing.

Cool. I guess I wasted my time then since I lost count of the times I've died already.
Welp that's one achievement I won't be getting.

As long as you don't click on "retry" but rather reload the fight, you can die, but maybe you didn't do that.

does the amount of points you get after beating the game for new game plus change depending on the difficulty you played on?

Not directly but each achievement earned has a point value and beating the game at a higher difficulty unlocks lower difficulty achievements as well. So there is some gain, but no difficulty based multiplier.

Didn't even consider getting a deathless achievement, so I've clicked that retry button a fuck ton already.

Can you replace old inherited skills once you reached the limit or are you stuck with whatever you chosen already on non NG+?

you can both replace them and can delete them without replacing them (as similar ones don't stack anyway).

It's brutal at the beginning, but once you upgrade the guns it gets a bit easier since you can do a ridiculous amount of damage in a short time. The first boss of chapter 3 was so easy with max level twin shotgun. If guns weren't allowed then, it would be insanely difficult. It's just a grind to get the money for the upgrades, but you can cheat for the money using mtool. The extremely difficult achievement to get would be to beat the supreme difficulty level in the underground arena on inferno. It's a boss rush requiring you to fight chapter bosses back to back. If you were just fighting one boss at a time it would make it seem kind of achievable with time dedicated but both of the bosses in each chapter at same time is beyond nightmarish.

If you can get the right setup, the twin hobgoblins can actually be killed easily on inferno. At the beginning of the fight, you need to get both of the hobgoblins with your special to break their shield. Once you have the shield broken launch them into the air and then use the piercing skill that stabs multiple times. If the hobgoblins are close enough to each other, the skill should hit both of them allowing you to continuously use the piercing skill. I was able to do more deal enough damage to both hobgoblins that they had less than 5% health left. You can then finish them off with the sniper rifle or just counter a couple of their moves to win.
