Out of interest... how can you restore a scene from unused Ch 4 renders if there was never a dialogue script for that scene? What am I missing?

Add it into the script to activate at the point you want it to.

If without spoilers: much better visuals, the soundtrack has changed for the better, everything feels smoother, as well as changes in the story, which (for me) made the game better but slower. Either way you should play it for yourself. But be prepared - the MC's chin and jaw moves more and more forward with each update

Probably the main change, MC isn't related to anyone now. So, no bum-bum with step-sis anymore. If 'cest was the main reason you play, better drop the game right now.
Besides that, another big change is that Wollust is mostly ruled by criminal families with rather medieval rules and traditions, and the Zanes are one of those families. It's not that something like this wasn't intended in the old version, but now criminal rivalries and mafia life are brought to the forefront of the plot and some plot elements are adapted to this change in the main storyline.
Otherwise, it's still the same WiAB, only better. The MC (Oh yeah, his appearance has changed, he now looks like Momoa, but that's not new, in the old WiAB he was changed two or three times.) is still fooling around, groping girls, cracks dumb jokes and trying to figure out why Leia has asked him to return. But now all this has a mafia flavor.
There is certainly a small but rather vocal group of users here who took the change with hostility and endlessly repeat in this thread how they don't like anything since the release. And maybe twice as many people who didn't like the changes too, wrote a review about it and moved on.
The rest of us are enjoying the update and waiting for moar.

The dialog was there, in a way, Miru is having a phone conversation with MC telling him what happened in the cab with the Krayt guy. I just reinserted that render as a flashback during that conversation.

I linked the mentioned picture a little higher in spoiler. In the NTR route, when Miru and Will are talking on the phone, Miru literally says: "I let him play with my tits for a bit". But you can see in the picture that it's not just tits, and that Miru is not completely honest. If this picture had been included in this dialogue, then everyone would have immediately known that Miru was lying. But Ocean doesn't want to immediately reveal Miru's cheating to the players, not even in the NTR route. When they talk, Miru is naked, and in my opinion, by this time she has already fucked the krayt guy, who is still in the apartment. Look at her eyes and body language in every picture, it gives it away. But maybe no one notices this, because everyone only reads Miru's body and the dialogue. This is mainly due to Ocean's visuals, since in almost every picture in the game the characters get a sharp and clear image, but the background is always blurry and not clear. This is what happens in these pictures, it's a bit dark, Miru's body is sharp and clear, but the background is usually blurry. However, if you give the picture a little brightness and sharpen the image a little, I think the answer is there. Miru is not alone in the apartment, and someone is sitting on the couch. And if this is true, then it's understandable why Miru says at the end of the scene: "I'm tired"...

This is exactly what I was talking about in my previous comment. To get to this point, you have to deny sex with Miru several times throughout the game. This causes sexual frustration and she really wants to have sex with someone. And I think the "final decision" was Katie's stupid scene in the cafe, when she moaned lustfully into Will's phone while talking to Miru. If you look closely at the pictures, Miru doesn't laugh or smile, as if this was really a joke. But this last one, again, is just a theory on my part.

It's not canon because if you always give Miru what she wants and treat her well, then this scene is different. Miru is cooking in an apron while they're talking on the phone. So there's no cheating on this route.. This only happens if you do the things I mentioned in the story. And if you have the NTR option turned on at the beginning of the game...

Yeah, so the point is that throughout the story, if you always have sex with Miru when you have the chance, there's no sexual frustration. So Miru is happy and content with her relationship...

Yeah, as you might guess from my reaction, I always have sex with Miru. No matter what other path, it's a given. I even enable NTR, just to keep my on track with her, because I would hate NTR.

I had similar thoughts playing this route. But Ocean is consistent that cheating is not Miru's nature, so I don't think they have fuck. There are different opitions of the open relationship one where you have to approve any sexual activity and one where you just approve penetration, the cab scene exist but it not being in the script says something, maybe Ocean thought it didn't fit the character. I do think that Miru NTR route is closer than we might think but was only 3 days with out sex, if that was enough she would have cheated before.
The developer can shove his game where the sun doesn't shine...the fact that he removed the MC's relationship with everyone is a complete turn-off. For a long time, the game was among my top three picks. Now it's just a rusty oil can in another dimension.

As written under your comment, Ocean had the "courage" to rewrite the story. For years, everyone was happy with the family relationships, because that's what made the game even more special. So if he removed that, why can't he do something he said before (Miru is not a cheating type). And I think the taxi driver scene fits this character perfectly in this scene. We're talking about the NTR route, so who will cheat on Will if he's not with anyone else but Miru? And finally, this is a porn site where millions of irrational decisions are made in games. So when exactly Miru cheats on Will - is irrelevant. Now was the perfect opportunity.

Well the changes affected only plot not characters, I didn't see any change in the update that would make think different of Miru. Yeah, but the things is that the render was cut, Ocean didn't use this render, as for his reasons who can tell ? Finally you would be right if this was a fuck fest where women lost reason at the sigth of a cock and the reworks didn't do that and the when id absolutely important, I even like the agle that she lets things go more far than she said to William I just don't think there was fucking involved
