It's depressing how we have this exact same discussion with every update and nothing changes.

The game being a sandbox would work great if it was like Water World or Cure My Addiction (to name a couple) where there's tons of minor repeteable events and "sexy" images when you click on zones without them to make the world feel alive. Instead you have empty buildings, useless side quests (wrench, what the hell was that for?) and half the content of a usual monthly VN as it happens with most sandbox games.

He's making a linear VN, without a need to farm, and turning it into a sandbox, and it makes absolutely no sense.

You would think we would learn our lesson and just realize there is no redemption for this game.

Even tho i don't really like the 2 games you've mentioned i have to agree that you don't run around in a dead space for a long time until something happens. But thats sadly a problem with most sandbox games and i'm really happy that at Evil User took the criticism serious and changed Lukes Way back and made it enjoyable again.

In my opinion you can do a sandbox game if you have enough content to provide, a solid controll system AND if you have planed the game completly out as sandbox. All of this doesn't apply here.

I'm sure the majority (like me) just come here to see if the dev put out the dumpster fire he caused and leave again when we find out he hasn't.

I'm actually playing every update because I like the characters and the story. But the gameplay it's NOT enjoyable in any way. Without the walkthrough it's impossible to know what the hell is added in the update and most of it advances the story at a snail's pace. So it ends up feeling like it had ten minutes of actual content.

True we are haters that are only interested in destroying games not making them enjoyable...damn now i have to go into every game where i wrote something positive or where i made a suggestion (which was taken positivly by the dev) and change it into hating...thats gonna take some time.

Honestly, he should make a poll here and on Patreon to ask about our opinion about the game being a sandbox. Feedback is what helps game grow.
