Then I don't know. I too have that model and also installed it manually no issue here. But make sure you don't have folder structur f.ex "C:\Users\Public\Documents\My DAZ 3D Library\Runtime\runtime" That might break it. Sry

I find Tess in Content Library (not Smart Content), under People\Genesis 3 Female\Characters\-valkyrie-\Tess G3F .
To create a Tess, it seems you have to create a plain Genesis 3 Female, apply Tess head and body morphs from the presets in the above folder, then go into the Materials subfolder and apply the Tess full body texture, eyes, makeup, etc. I can't confirm that right now, my DAZ is busy rendering some gooood stuff for y'all to look at.
Well for example, i installed sex in the college poses pack, i find it on content library but when i click on it appear a message that says, Error opening the file: a error occurred while reading the file, see the log file for more details. Do you know what that means?
And i tried to see Tess and find it, and i find but appear the same message that i said before.
