Best way to play these games is what FF is doing, harem until the end when you have to choose. That way you get to enjoy all the content while having a nice ending with the one you like. At least, as a player, that's the best way to have fun with the game without having to manage 50 saves. Unless it has some heavy story that has the harem make no sense, ofc...

1,000,000% agree with you... any game that wants to do a "one girl only ending" SHOULD do the Freeloading Family scenario... let the MC get to know all the girls, and fuck them right in the pussy multiple times before he decides either right at the end, or 75% of the way in to commit to one of them, that way no mistakes, and realistically less chance for divorce, heartbreak, or break-up occurring down the line.
Watching some guy on pornhub play these games sucks ass as they scroll at breakneck speed through dialogue to get to sex scenes... I dont just want to see people fucking... I got you. I mean, I also like some pretty linear stories (i.e. Life with Mary) but that doesn't mean I want to play that all the time. Yes, watching some other dude playing the game and choosing different choices than you isn't quite the same but if that leads to the same ending... And, yes - there is no replayability values in such a game. Whatever we think about replayability, that's what every dev wants for his/her game.

I didnt get that. I tried being an asshole to her, and I tried being nice, I replayed the first visit, beat her at chess while being nice, nothin. I try it again, beat her but am an asshole, nothing.

lol, if you think they're not cheating you're wrong. some of them for sure are and, regardless of how highly you might think of yourself, you give them no reason not to. others may not cheat but will just move on to something better without warning when they're done with you. but again, what's the harm.
I never told them they cant cheat, only that I dont want to hear about it... if I call one to meet up and she says "I am busy tonight"... I assume she might be with someone else... I dont ask a follow-up question... cause I firmly believe that "dont ask questions to which you dont want to know the answers".
