Well, you notice wrong. His work is good, really good but he's not the best in the genre and he certainly isn't without competition.

Personally I prefer Philly Games work and think that CheekyGimps "Where the heart Is" offers much more entertainment, more regularly, with bigger updates and quality wise it's at least on the same level.

Many, many people were really put off by how Acting Lessons played out, you wonder why he has relatively few patrons, that's your main reason there.
Also, not everybody enjoys all those minigames.

That looks like the ring Bella is wearing ... which makes me wonder whether this is the ring of Tybalt´s father - Prof Burke - and when Bella is/was married to Burkes brother she would have a ring very similar to this one ...

I have to disagree with u there and I strongly disagree, no other games or developers atm are on his level in terms of development, how the game feels, and makes u feels as connected to the game as he does, frankly, when u play his games it does not feel like it is done by an indie developer it feels professional and high quality and very realistic, the entire product he puts out feels on another level to everything else that is out there. And his games are just not sex-related, they have a story to them and feel like they are coming from a production company.

I am fairly new to adult visual novels but I have played a lot of them recently and they all just feel like they a porn games sex-oriented, playing both acting lessons and BADIK, they appeal more to a wider general audience, rather than the niche adult visual novel community who I feel is more about porn and sex, Acting Lessons is on steam, I dont know any other developer from this community to have published there game on steam , and for it to have such a high rating on steam, 9/10, from people outside of this community that tells u something, and they all complement the story, and how it is such a great game.

U mentioned more entertainment more regularly bigger updates, that there is wrong, it does not matter the size of the updates or how fast they come out, the only thing that matters is the quality and there is no one else atm producing the same quality. Also, BADIk is already over 4gigabytes only at episodes three episodes 4 is coming, and after that, more episodes will come it was said it will be 10-20 episodes in the end if needed.

I have to agree with the person whose post you were replying to 100%.

I have a theory that Derek is young Adam Jensen from the Deus Ex series and whatever happens at this college will shape him up to be what he was in those games
