I am also struggling with this and cant find a way to trigger it.
Also have some problems getting "Double BJ Mistake", "No Romance in the van" and "Romance is dead in the back of the van" to trigger.

Its a pity that the gameplay is as messy as in Lucky Alex so that you need a walkthrough. I love the renders and the story but the gameplay is really awful.

for van events - dont eat pizza from the store i try many times and get this events, eat pizza in van, next speak with the girl, after 2-3 times you will get "no romannce" (bad english but hope help you)

I also can't continue past this point. I have unlocked all the Taylor events and tried to speak to her at the beach but it only says that nobody knows about her escapades and I should get her to have sex on the beach. I already did that with the kid. I also tried to tell Ellie in the bathroom but there is no option to talk to her...
