Ok guys, we need to talk lol
Space Paws is finished, so now it's time to tell you our plans with a bit more of detail.
November 15th is the deadline for everything Space Paws related. This day we have planned to upload the Final version with some hotfixes applied and we won't add or modify anything in Space Paws from that point. For that reason, if there's something buggy, it's now or never.
What happens after Nov. 15?
After this deadline we start our break. This means we won't reply to any comments or personal messages you send us. For that reason, please help each other during this time, guys.
Our Patreon will remain open so new patrons can pledge and access to the game, walkthrough, older posts... despite us being on our break.
During our break it's possible that we upload from time to time some concepts, and different tests we do about different artstyles or character concepts we want to practice a little bit for the next project. BUT take into account that we're on our break so this would be at very slow rate.
What about you, our patrons?
As Space Paws is finished and we'll be in our break (but also trying new things...) some of you may prefer to pause, stop or edit your pledges for a time. Maybe until we're back to work or maybe after we release our first Alpha.
Anyway, if you stop your pledge we would recommend you to follow our patreon so you can receive the notification when we are back.
When will we return?
Well, we won't go anywhere as we will post some stuff from time to time. Actually, it's more about phases:
-On November 15th we start a break phase where we'll post very few posts from that point on.
-At some point of January we'll start working again at full rate BUT during those first months the amount of work to show will still be lower than in Space Paws as we'll be creating a new game from zero that will require lots of (not only art) work.
Anyway, you will notice in our patreon when we are resting and when we are working.
And please now more than ever: DON'T ASK FOR RELEASE DATES!
We'll be creating something new and we want to do something great spending all the time required for this. We understand some of you could feel eager to see the new game (me too!). We'd like to release something between June and September, maybe a bit earlier maybe a bit after. Knowing this, please be patient.
Can you tell us something about the next project?
Here are some minor details we already explained:
-It won't be Space Paws 2 (different universe)
-It will have different gameplay/mechanics even though it will have an obvious Visual Novel aspect as Space Paws.
-There will be more girls and races. Human and furry/anthro girls presence will be more balanced (50/50?)
-Male main character.
-Not guaranteed but we'll try to build it on Unity although there's a possibility we'll finally go for Flash again (every software has its pros and cons).
-We expect it will require more time for you to complete the game.
Anyway, little by little you'll know and see more and more details.
