Now that I think about it, I think she mentioned something about unilateral while also talking about Shan... And I have pretty much only slept and woken up with her, so I don't think she could have ran off when I sleep.
It works a little too well. I set their H meter to 100 and everything else to 0, locked everything but their break meter, and now they go from one lesbian H session with a girl to immediately going into another with the same girl. They at least leave me alone now, but they also don't get anywhere near Shan, making what was already a rare occurrence even more rare if it's even still possible.
Partially incorrect, they can have Shan as their favorite without ever speaking to her, on first exiting their pod even. I had that happen on my first playthrough. My one girl was constantly getting fatigued, so I constantly had to stalk her so I could carry her back to a base. She didn't talk to Shan even once and her favorite person was, you probably saw this coming by now, Shan by the second day. I did not sleep as I focused on gathering while my girl was out and stalking her when she was active to be ready for another episode of fatigue. On my second playthrough, I went all out and used four girls and all four stopped to talk to her, but only after I got to the housing island, which I did in minutes thanks to the scripts and the way the "growing" works. In that same playthrough, which is my current one, none have Shan as their favorite and only one has done H with her and only once. It may be a loophole in the code that simply escaped Illusion's notice and not intended to work that way, but it can happen at least in the current build. Also, I can't even talk to Shan unless I am not being followed.

That sounds like a bug then... I will post some screen shots when I get home showing all the girls saying that I am their best friend, I know for an absolute fact this isn't correct, but is clearly related to how you have played. This game records everything. Also, unless you loaded up something from another's save or whatever, or a previous save of your own, all first time spawn girls have no friends yet, as they cannot per the code, they MUST interact at the very least one time, but usually several seems necessary, like 5+ times, to become friends with anyone. Unless of course someone uses cheats or mods to force it but that is not in the game code but an external influence...

Well, I think that Shan the merchant is an identity glitch in her program, as she was the one that maintained the island (Tsubomi's original story), because Shan was the name of the Scientist that created the AI Girls ("the Father" in early translations, no idea what it is now) and Shan (the merchant AI) was there when they were created by the "creator," but he/she (the father/creator) "perished," obviously during whatever cataclysm occurred while Shan (the merchant AI) was not destroyed. Then Shan (the merchant AI) took care of the island until you arrived and started waking the girls.
Shan the father/creator is not Shan/Beauty (the AI merchant) but another character altogether, since they mention that the father/creator perished in the story. I am left to assume that:
A. The merchant being Shan is a mistake altogether and likely another early translation goof
B. The merchant does call herself Shan, but she is not operating properly as she endured the apocalyptic event that caused everyone else to perish. Her program could not handle the loss of the father/creator and she fractured her identity becoming the father/creator as well -- or, believes because she tended to the island and the AI Girls in the father/creator's absence that she is equal.
However, this is all conjecture until we get a really good translation since it is all based on various translations that still have sentences like, "I really enjoy to like it when I get to spend my time with me I know?"

In this case I think she is referring to the "father/creator" mentioned in the Tsubomi (original girl "a bud") story. This person, also named Shan (mistakenly?) died (or perished).
They will absolutely run off while you sleep. Whenever you sleep you go down for 12 game hours. They usually get up after 4-6 unless they are totally exhausted, but then will fatigue and come lay back down. If they didn't go far they could return to the same bed (although that is probably unlikely). I usually choose sleep together, then "lie down," then I get up and stand at the foot of the bed and watch her sleep, hit PgUp 4x to change the game to 16x speed and then as soon as she jumps up to stretch, tap PgDn 4x to return the game to 1x speed... Then follow her around. During her training days anyway. That way I can control and observe what she is doing specifically. Once you get her in the condition you want her in, it's fine to leave her to work on another girl, just check in once every few days and you'll stay #1. If she loses interest, then just date her more, eat together, sleep together, spend time like "hunting" and "taking breaks," also. Make sure her needs stay satiated and she'll love you #1 again in no time. Maintaining this isn't hard at all...

Well I have to throw in the towel on this one. I am pretty versed in installing/modifying games like this, and from what I can tell all the optionional mods of repack 2.0 are working fine with zero in game issues, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to actually get the menu for this to pop up. Am I missing a magical keybind? Or is it supposed to autoload when viewing the girls stats? I feel like it's just not working period for me - any tips on possible issues anyone has run into trying to get this to work would be awesome.

The key to open the menu with the sliders? The enter key on your num pad, if you have a num pad, that is. Not the one above right shift, the one to the far right of the keyboard.
is there a way to disable the game's map while in H scene (like PlayHome) even by bruteforce messing with the game files or something? the map really brings the fps down for me
I've never had it happen without, so the occurrence rate must be set pretty low or it must need something done to trigger it without that skill. Denying them when they ask nicely a bunch, for example. That would make the perfect prerequisite for them forcing you even without the Nympho skill. If that is the case, I must not have denied them enough. Lucky me since Forced H does not want to cooperate and ends with me watching her breathe and stare at me as if waiting for a response I cannot give for a question she never asked until I close the game and lose all progress I haven't saved.
The map shouldn't be up during H. You can turn it off by pressing M.

AH yeah, that is right, I had to recode the keycode keybinds on many of these scripts using the numpad...
