No. Calling this "EVIL 2" was a bit of a misnomer, as this is not really a sequel, but more like a remake. The reason for the remake was because EVIL is such a mess.

This is like the 3rd attempt to translate/clean up the game, I fear it is jinxed, as the game is pregnant with possibilitities yet undevelped in any version.

yep, meet an army dude, become best friends with him, convince him to become a hitman, give him a sniper and "order mabuta". Costs about 100k in cash, i believe. 50k for the sniper and 50k for the hitman.

You need to order a contract or hit on him.

To do that you need to make friends with a mercenary and turn him into a hitman. After that you can order the hit. I think it costs 50000 and I'm pretty sure you need to provide a weapon. Better weapons give a better chance I believe.

That's nice, i always tried to get the mercnaries to enter my gang.

Do other professions have special uses too? So far i only discovered doctor (will sell you drugs).

I think programmers can hack the porn star database. Doesn't really seem to do anything right now though.

Yes, i had that too, but the additional option never has any positive results.

When you have a person who is a mechanic in your gang you can give them the job to dismantle cars youve stolen for scrap money.

also if you get a seller to join your gang, and you assign a deputy, you can sell all surplus vehicles to one of the other gangs in the area. Reach that through the your gang tab. I forget which one.

I don't have a seller in my gang and iam able to sell cars nontheless. I have a cab driver and a locksmith though. All others are classmates that have muscles.

What did you discover in dealing with other gangs?

All i could do so far is:
- selling cars to the Wilanowska Brigade
- having the Gorbatov Brigade collect information about a robbery target (but this seems useless, since i have to scout a target first by myself and when i pay them, i have to scout again)
- collect debs for the Armenians

All i could do so far is:

That's all I managed to do. Rewards aren't worth it right now though.

God damn it, when I finally manage to find a game in my taste amidst all the VN-style games on this site (which are not for me), it's just been abandoned. Oh well. I hope the developer changes his mind at some point. Heck, just move to a different site if the F95 moderators can't be reasoned with.

I feel the same, in my opinion most VN-style games are not even worth to be called games. It's more like a bad movie where you have to click that it continues.

But why do you mention the moderators? Did spectre1viper quit because of some indifferences?

I fixed that higher up in the thread along with some other bugfixes, it has a download for a fixed .qsp file.

Due to F95Zone policies and disagreements with several moderations and staff on F95Zone, I will no longer develop on this site.

f95zone - You need to take lessons from 'The Nexus'. They had too many developers and modders leaving and so they changed their policies and gave developers and modders full admin rights to their own threads. The Nexus made this change roughly 5 years ago.

When I first posted this game, not too long ago, it seemed like every moderator on this site felt like they needed to change something on the OP (opening post), even after following the exact template for new games posted by the staff. It was comical because moderators were changing other moderators changes. After two weeks it finally settled down and I was able to adjust the formatting to my liking. 90% or more of their changes were simple formatting preferences.

Then there was the issue with game tags. The tags at the very top of the OP. Developers don't have rights to change, add, or remove them. Moderators were adding tags that did not belong. They assumed that the tags were identical to the original game and this was clearly not the case. I then had multiple players complaining in the game thread that they came here for "xyz" tag and it didn't exist. I then had to explain that I didn't have rights to edit my own game tags (looking very stupid in the process). I had to contact moderators, more than once, to remove bogus tags off of my game. And then they kept getting added back. Why I don't have rights to change tags (since I know what the game contains more than anyone) I have no idea?!

The straw that broke the camels back was when a player posted a 100% negative hate filled review of the game. The review contained 70% outright false information. The reviewer simply never played a QSP game before and expected it to be similar to the countless visual novels he played. A QSP game is the direct opposite of a visual novel in almost every way. Being generous, 70% of his review was outright false/misinformation/lies, 20% was opinion, and 10% had some merit (lack of mac/linux support and possibly the version number being too high). I reported the review continually for several days and the moderators sided with the reviewer.

The staff and moderators would rather protect someone posting a 100% negative, hate filled review, filled with false information, than keeping developers who are spending 30 hours a week donating their time and talents for free.

I won't develop on this site anymore. I'm sure I will be called all sorts of things but I don't care. I've had enough and have lost my motivation to continue. I even worked through Christmas and New Years trying to make the game better but no more.

I will take that 30 hours per week and spend more time with family, friends, hobbies, and recreation.

the moderators do protect the developers but not overtly
and it is good enough i think
anything much more and it can hinder projects and miss lead failed ones to go for a long time .
and i will never divulge the open secret industry secrets(too provocative content)
If the creator comes back we will be full of joy.
