1) The summary of the game says "Much of the inspiration for this game comes from the
original game EVIL with similar game mechanics and storylines." - It says nothing about it being a rehashed version of the same game.
2) Software versioning doesn't work like that

1.0 means it's a major release. The version I played (1.1) no longer had the 'Beta' tag
3) How can you possibly argue it's not a sequel when the name has a 2 next to it? If you went to see "[Title] 2" would you expect anything other than a continuation of the story?
I did have time to play the game - I didn't like it. If the same amount of people ragging on me reviewed the game themselves, maybe spectre1 wouldn't have taken my review so harshly. What exactly did I miss in the OP that would've helped me appreciate this game more? I've played many games - Ren'Py VNs, HTML (including one of the highest rated games on this site which is
a real porn game), Flash, Unity, Java, RPGM, etc. - I've never created a character in those games and wondered "why does it matter what shape my nose is?", "Why is there 10 exercises at the gym, but only one gives me feedback on gaining skills?", "Where are my skills?", "Why does this game reward me so poorly for doing jobs (being a bouncer, working at the grocery store, working as a taxi driver)", "Why are there people waiting to jump me everywhere even when I buy a gun?".
I don't mean to continue the arguing, but bashing me over and over because you didn't like my review isn't fair. Here is a word-for-word review that is on this thread
right now
"
The game over all is amaing.
The interface needs just a little more work.
Yea the direction the game is going brings me joy.
But as a sick fuck such as my self i'd like to see the ability to interact with the family of your whores example if she has a 20 yo daughter you can corrupt her and get some nasty 3 somes etc.

There's a reason there's a '1-star' option when reviewing something, because sometimes people feel like games deserve it. There's a multitude of other games that deserve 4/5 stars in my book, but I just haven't reviewed them yet because:
a) they are already popular and have a ton of reviews
or
b) I didn't play the game enough to feel like writing out a verbose review.
Again, if half the people hating on me left a review, maybe the 1-star review would've landed softer. The
only reason anyone is even paying attention to my review is because the developer mentioned it himself. I never expected this to happen, I didn't
want this to happen, and yet my first interaction with the community here is entirely negative because the developer couldn't take a harsh review. I apologize for calling people 'lunatics', but I think we can agree there have been far meaner/harsher things said online with no recourse at all.
If you like the game, leave a review - partially blaming me for my opinion isn't going to bring spectre back, maybe a plethora of positive reviews will though.
