Anarchy3dstudios just a suggestion. If you believe that your game has good content, release it here, let it get as much exposure as it can. don't wait for 5-6 days and someone else to release it. Eventually, you'll see the patreons coming in.

Best examples are icstor and darkcookie. Since the beginning, people have been able to play their games for free. therefore, through word of mouth the game spread. People liked it and went on to support those games so that the dev could continue development. And now, they are where they are today. You need that exposure. There are too many devs dropping out after having made a game just to make a quick buck but have failed miserably, or because of some or the other reason.
People are sceptical about supporting anyone these days. So it'll be really hard for your game to get the exposure it needs to grow.

Play the long game.

I do support this opinion and dont have a problem having it here on the site but i do usually let the patreons have it first but not really sure how to add an update on here yet if i were to do that in the future
