I am surprised somebody that has Alexandria as fansign would criticize this VN, given that they are written but the same guy, as far as I know. And you can easily tell that by the way is written.

Once again ... an excellent plot ... very good story, very good graphic ... but at the time of sex ... puff .... it gets into trouble!
People need to understand that a story without sex ... is the same as the Earth without Sun ... it does not help!
I suggest improving this from now on.
In other words, this is an adult game, not a porn game. Sex is there like any adult content as could be murder or manipulation, violence or anything else. Not as the main drive of the story. At least not so far. And I doubt it would become that.
So no, what people need to understand is that there are different subjects. If you just want a sexy story, this is not that.

Well, not every game on this site has to be a porn game. The tag "no sexual content" exists for a reason on this site.
I not going to get into your debate on people comments or the differences in VN's but I will comment on a major flaw, imo, of this story. You have a seasoned female vampire telling the MC to forget his old life, but she puts him back into his old life by taking him back to his apartment. It seems to me, his disappearance from the hospital would be a perfect condition for his old life to disappear. Right now I don't like or hate this game because the story is everywhere. To summarize the story for me, it's take your old life to build a new one. Not abandon your old one and start a new one. This is the problem I have with this story. Also, the next time I play this game, I would like to decide if I like it or not, that's another reason I been waiting for more content updates. I would probably like the story more if it didn't have his old life elements. This is going to be the deciding factor for me.

I see your point but there is a flaw in your analysis, in my opinion. When she takes MC to his appartment she was not yet designated to be his teacher. She only cared at the moment taking him out of the hospital so vamps would not be discovered. And she made sure by getting rid of everybody that tried to get into his house.
Given that he lived long enough to make the transition, she was later appointed MC's "step-sire". The thing about her telling him to get rid of his life is later when she is her teacher. And even when he said "I will not listen to you", she did say "your choice". She is not forcing MC to live her way, it was just a recommendation.

I liked the update as well. The game is great at telling the story.
But damn, now I have to wait (one month?) again...
A little hint: I played it with a sound addon from the mod section, I liked that background music even better + some nice sound effects too.

I've only played two versions of this game so my memory isn't that great concerning all the interactions in the game. You will agree the woman that takes him from the hospital is a seasoned vampire that knows the rules and she is tasked to find his sire. Yet she isolates him in his apartment and not a cell somewhere. Isn't she smart enough to know that he has probably been abandon by his sire since he is brought to the hospital.
As for the mc saying "I will not listen to you", just shows human stupidity. This comment also goes to the girl DJ that thinks his condition is mind control. I've played too much VTM, it's easier to shed your old life. This is the main reasons for waiting for more updates. I want to play more of his new life, than interacting with his old one. I don't like the story with his old life, hoping his new life content will make up for it.

This part I don't agree. You are assuming she wants to make decisions for him. Up to that part, it is irrelevant. That is why I mentioned that even later, she is just recommending. She knows MC will probably screw up if she keeps his life on him but that is irrelevant for her before she becomes the sire and after she makes a recommendation, it is his choice or not to follow it.
Your claim was that it was an original flaw in the story. I dont see it is. She was a consistent character all the time. Did what she had to do first, make a suggestion later. Nothing more, nothing less.
I agree with you in that MC was fucking stupid. Seriously, fucking stupid. But a character acting stupid is only wrong if that is inconsistent. Up to that point, his relationship with Laurie is consistent with him telling and him not realizing his situation. Assuming MC actually learned from his mistake, if in the future he goes back to his mother and say "hey mom I'm a vamp" and this is used to push the story, I agree with it is a flaw in design. But so far it wasn't in my opinion.
Acting rational all the time is not consistent at least that is the personality of the character.
I also want to see more of his vamp life, but I also want to see how he could deal with his family. This approach is barely taking into in most vamp games. Usually, the guy just disappear and act like he does not care about his family. I know I would if I was turned into a vampire. And would be very trouble between doing the correct thing and doing what I want. Even more, would be nice to turn some family members, for example.

The person drowning is the MC. The no swimming rule is abandon old life. What should she do?

And I see what you mean. My point is that your original claim was about that the story made no sense while it is about you not liking an action of a character. The way I see it those are different issues. And the way I see her behavior is consistent so far. It is not a matter of what we would do, it is a matter of what Sharon would do.
I for example dislike Lauries behavior. But to be fair I almost always dislike "childhood friends clearly inlove with MC" characters. that is not to say her behavior is inconsistent, I just think is stupid. Would not miss her if she was not around, but now as a thrall, have to wait and see.
I hope it is clear what I am trying to say. But dont worry about. again, agree to disagree is always a good choice.
