the R4 download i got five days ago is 33.4GB, so unpacked it's 48~ GB . as i mentioned before, i deleted two mod folders with stuff i don't need for main game, and those two folders were 25GB of storage. my AI-Shoujo game folder now (minus the mentioned) is 26~GB, which has saved games and whatnot.
*edit just unpacked my R4 zip download again to get size
so if you download it you have to have about 34GB of size for download and about 50GB for unzip for the game. AFTER that you can delete stuff you don't want to save space like i did (two mod folders) and go down to 25GB or even less if you delete all the extras since there are a lot of clothes, heads, etc etc

Weird whenever I start an H-Scene nothing appears, when i press spacebar the options all pop up but I can't click anything, not even the door icon to stop it?.

id like to start pointing some performance issues regarding the game to somehow help other ppl or ease them up a bit. i hope this kind of posts would get stickied/their own thread -sort of?
Some rig info is needed by readers to roughly gauge theirs. im using:
i5-9300h (4.1ghz -downclocked to 3.2ghz yields the same targeted fps (75))
Rtx 2060m OCed upto 2040mhz - 6gb Vram 7ghz MemClk 90W
16gb ram 2.6ghz
Game is on SSD nvme m2
Play @ fhd 1080p, normal Rendering reso. option
All sub graphic options are On
Game issues:
1. This, beggarly optimized game render the whle map in Entirety (objects & its texture reso + dense vegetation + shadows + reflections, all their movements) realtime nonstop simultaneously although vastly not on-sight;
my estimation is the whole map almost as big/half of AC Origins Siwa city -thus it requires no loading at all for fastravel/getting in-out. Hoards both gpu utilization & vram. I run out of my 6gb Vram for game like this....
- Dont bother turning ON many LIGHT sources & building good-looking settlements on main map bcs itll be treated the same as point above - building 3 goodlooking settlements on main map eats up 1gb vram or more. hence only build what necessary & try to unlock other island (different world from main) faster, then stash all the girls there. u may start building the greatlooking playboy mansion. Kicking my 3 girls out of my settlement-dense main island frees 1gb of vram too
2. SelfShadow in-game feature is the notorious. Also Rain/Atmosphere come in 2nd
3. Looking at certain directions on varied locations across whole map gives fps drop to flat 30 despite any tweak
4. Some storm-like (?) weather kill performance & the sole solution is to wait till end (or just sleep)
5. Occasionally, the game suddenly glitches (?) the gpu performance utilization upto 99% despite any tweak or/and on relatively lite spot. solution is just return to title screen & reenter
6. Changing Rendering reso. mid-game glitches the whole performance despite toggling back. return to title, restart save. Toggle it thru title options
7. Changing Performance-Normal-Quality via InitSetting/launcher doesnt seem to benefit sth significant (?)
8. Clicking different H-menu too rapidly/quick causes freeze
9. i have yet to find the sweetspot for using the graphic mod (can replace in-game shadows) to compensate the messed up in-game graphic features

sorry i dont quite get it, thus im sorry in advance for misunderstanding.. what i typed was regarding GPU & vram & my cpu rests at just upto 60% utizilation, like, anyone who reads sensor monitoring can easily tell
i personally dont care abt "outdated" current gen technology just because of upcoming hype or hottest latest of, u dont say, much better tech. Objectively talking, this Pron game is nothing on calibre of AAA but hoards upto 3 times the resource of most AAA even on 2k
i just want the writings to ease up anyone in need & perhaps it seems not you and your best rig. Everyone hope to play many games at ease despite the rigs they can afford atm - not to mention, most ppl in their right mind wouldnt aim to purchase overkill 1080ti/2070/2080 gpu w the suitable on par CPU just to play unoptimized Pron games
Its just cause amd is currently destroying intel
Their stuff is like way cheaper and you can get even better performance out of them

oh yes, i clearly misunderstood im sorry. i agreed & am looking forward to amd destroys intel on laptop segment as well so id switch after seeing the upcoming rivalry development. i certainly can afford far more decent desktop at the price of my regular laptops collection but im more of a laptop guy bcs ive been in love with it just like guys love some classic types of car though lower value in price to performance

Had the white screen problem, none of the suggestions on the thread worked(updating locale emulator etc). Moving to SSD worked somehow. Thanks man!

Hi, when i extract the files, i downloaded using torrent, i get an writting error near the end of the extraction. Needless to say the game doesnt run. No errors pop, nothing it just doesnt run. The only error i get is the one when extracting. Any help plz?
