Yeah, like a little slow burn also, but with my 60 Years, I don't know if I will live so long to see a burn here.

Hey guys,
Yesterday i shared some of my thoughts with you.
I want to thank does who commented or gave me feedback, it mean a lot to me.
As i mentioned before, it really helped me to know that i am not alone enjoying this game.
First thing i want to clarify, i am NOT stopping at any point.
Worst-case scenario (i am no way near that state of mind), i will continue creating the game and only post the finished product when it's ready (Again this is not the current situation, so don't worry).
I am going to start releasing versions every 2 months for the time been, and hopefully, it will help a bit.
As for the matter at hand, i don't believe i was misleading in the past, but if you feel frustrated with the current speed of the game, i want to apologize sincerely, I never intended to give people false hope or to string them along.
If any of you feel that way, i urge to stay away and check back later on down the line, hopefully at that time we will be fother down the path.
I truly want everyone to enjoy this game, and not feel disappointed with every release.

The problem I have with this is every 2months release there should be double the time in the game as how you'd compare to every release month that you usually would, that could be either good or bad because if he is on the same thinking as we are then next update (June!!!!!) we will finally see her do something, this update needs to have something, his slow burn of this has to come to an end soon and even if I was the creator of this game and i'm up this point, the only way for me to keep on slow burning is to introduce new characters who wont be involved at all and to make either Merry or Ed have regrets that they take a step back and need help....
I didn't want every 2 months, yes the game was slow but we had new content on time (minus this month as we had none last month)
Give us an update where you can show that your not slow burning, give us an update where we finally see some action that I think is 2 updates over due, show the people you can justify getting double the money for only 1 release, show us your not like 2 other games where 1 has been milking for over 2years and no content and the other doing the slowest burn possible.

I don't see why people are complaining, maybe the point is about teasing like eyes wide shut where the couple tease one another but never act on it.

Yeah, maybe, but in that case the Dev should have called his game "Project tease wife" or "Project exhibitionist wife"

I've been following this game for about a year now and I also feel like this is leaning in the direction of a dev milking his patrons. I get that he is saying he is doing the game how he wants to and how he envisions the game should be but ultimately you are making this game to make money and if you keep stalling on content that the people who pay you want to see then it seems like a classic case of milking your income source. Because honestly this game has been out way too long for the amount of recycled sexual content or lack of it.

To the Dev:
Well, how about offering a refund to those you have mislead for over a year (not me as I quit paying last fall - I tumbled to your unethical methods then). The game was billed as about a Hotwife...not about a couple trying their best to avoid any type of swinging or extra-marital sex.
The first 3 or 4 releases were understandable, and the 'slow' burn was acceptable...but the last 10 or so you have written NOTHING to give encouragement to those of us who sent you money in good faith thinking that this game was a cheating/swinging themed game...the NTR tag is totally FALSE and misleading at this point.
So now you want people to pay every month, but you will release content only every 2 months, and that the content will eventually be there - but with your track record I do not trust you farther then I can spit. As the saying goes - "fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me".

I asked the dev about his game. He guarantees that not only will all the genres were asking for come, they will also be explored thoroughly, not just as a conclusion or in passing. I'm not a patreon subscriber and can understand people subscribing being unsatisfied with the pacing, but at least you can be happy that it will come in the future. If you're not satisfied with what you're getting, don't pay for it.
I'm frustrated with the pacing myself as it is, but it's not like my life revolves around it either, so I'll just wait till what I'm looking for is there. The dev seems both motivated and talented for now.

I am not sure what you want from the developer.
He has said over and over that the game is going to be slow, and the majority of his supporters are aware of it.
Why are you trying to vilify him like he is stealing our money?
You don't have to pay him, you can enjoy it freely, or just stop playing the game as he suggested.
The only problem here is that there are people who enjoy attacking him because they want a different game.
You don't have to play it!!!
I love the current pace, and i believe it will ruin the game to change it.
If you could see half of the comments the other supporters posted you would understand i am not alone.
In so many posts it seems people still think Patreon is a shop for games like steam, but no you are not buying a game or VN there, you are supporting a creative person and her/his vision. If the project develops differently than you had anticipated first stop your payment. It's as simple as that.
I don't know why are you writing all these accusations, your post reads very emotional and most claims make no sense or aren't logical. Maybe you should think about your own approach of patreon and what patreon really is, could save yourself some nerves for the future. Support devs whose work you like and if this changes stop supporting them and move on, it is as easy as it sounds.

That claim makes no sense at all, since the VN is still in development and when finished it's content could be fitting for the title. Or could not, but that's not the point because at the moment it is pure speculation
Who decides how long the build up of a story is acceptable? Some VNs start with almost no build up, others take a few updates until some action and others take longer and get categorized as "slow burn" and every form of approach has its right to exist and is only up to the choice of the dev. If this decision isn't fitting you personal taste stop paying and look for other devs to follow.
At the moment you pay one month and get content of 1 month of development. If the dev changes the release from every month to every other month you would have paid for 2 month and got content worth of two month of development. If you are doing your math right, there is no change in amount of money paid and amount of content delievered, the only difference would be that you have to wait longer for the next release.

I respectfully disagree with all your points. It's a matter of trust and integrity. When I feel someone is scamming others for financial gain, and tarnishing the reputation of am online community, I will speak out.

We all have our opinions. I totally (and respectfully) disagree with yours.
My opinion is this dev is purposely stringing things along to milk funds out of people.
Slow pace is one thing - this game has not progressed along it's stated NTR theme for over a year, in fact it has regressed...that is milking in my opinion.
I was his Patreon for a while until I felt that he was scamming me and others, taking advantage of the Patreon model.

if your endgoal in your story is to let Merry get fucked by other men in the Epilogue in your game,i must say you have strained your luck until now pretty hard.
you can not actually hoping you can go through with that what you hoped with your story for god knows how long and not expecting that your supporters not getting impatient by now???
i mean what are you expecting here??? you startet the game with Goodwife/Hotwife Sharing and Cheating pathes and it is always like that : Merry makes one step forward and THREE steps back after the step forward.
you are making NO ENJOYABLE GAME by now maybe it was at the beginning like that but after 16 UPDATES NOTHING HAPPEND.

i am not an pantreon but i felt to tell you that.
it is ok to build up the story but you are buildung up the story up from the beginning now and from update to update it is getting worser in a bad way with Merrys "Progress" you need to show that your story goes somewhere but all that you are showing is steps back.
with that it would be really intressting to see HOW you make merry a Hotwife,Cheating Wife and a Wife that her Husband shares with others.it would be weird that to see merry switching in her behaviour from a Prude to a Woman who gets banged every time a guy sees her.You must start with the change in merry somewhere and sometime soon and i am afraid that it will take another 15-20 updates to do so with that slow pace of yours.

I agree 100% with you that you should speak out if something feels wrong for you, but for me your post felt more like stating facts than mentioning your opinion, so I felt like posting another point of view.
Does this PHWAMM sham of a dev realize that there is a pool of potential supporters here who could triple his fanbase on Patreon if only he would loosen his ideals a little and accelerate the development to a reasonable pace of corruption?
reading his post from pantreon i suppose he is not.
if we could at least see some improvment over the updates from month to month but even that not happenes for over a year now.

He won’t change anything and he had no intention of changing or even listening to his patrons. It was obvious from the way he worded his post. He just cornered them into telling him to take his time and not change anything apart from an update every two months or else play bitch and give him an excuse to start milking. I doubt we’ll get twice the output in the new format though. Will have to see how many renders and events there are. In any case I’m going to wait until it’s finished to play it again. With so many full and partial Hotwife games being churned out I can easily give this one a rest. I’ll miss Merry’s tits though.
