Well normally you would download each part and then when you unpack the first one, it pulls the data from the other parts and recreates the original file. You just need a program like Winrar to unpack the rar files.
But in this case I recommend just downloading the Torrent because it's already pre-patched and ready to play.
I also had this exact problem. One way to fix it is to open your control panel while the game is running, go to processes, find Shiny Days, right click it and set priority to high. After that you should also click on "set affinity" and then uncheck everything except CPU 0.
This worked for me to stop the freezes but the game still crashes a lot if I try to use the skip or fast forward functions while in fullscreen so I advise saving a lot and exiting fullscreen if you want to skip scenes during subsequent playthroughs. Hope you get it to work.

Can someone kind enough to provide me the setup1.exe file only? I tried to download the torrent one, but it got different kinds of files. I also tried downloading the other torrent but the files is already rar so I can't download only setup1.

So this kind of game is being uploaded here too, i got my shiny days 1.00d ver and i have problems with blackscreen but there still dialogue&sounds from the characters, only my screen goes south and became black screen while playing, huge thanks for uploaded this.

If you come across a thread where you can't download the game because the links have expired, the best solution is to go to the OP (opening post or first post) and click on the 'Report' button on the lower left of the post. Not all threads have moderators watching them, especially the slow moving threads.
