Oh man the grind on this game! Managed to get past the barbarians and the knights and then got defeated by the gold haired hero and it ended. Anyone got a rave they can share? Hate to ask but I did at least play it.

Alright, so I downloaded and tried the first couple of minutes of this game and it seems pretty clear that it's a 'Copy and Paste' type of MTL. Sentences will extend past the dialogue box and become physically unreadable, though the basic story can still be understood. I believe that quality hentai games depend greatly on context and smooth readability of the dialogue, which this translation unfortunately does not.

A lot of what makes particular fetishes work are the emotions, dialogue, and choices involved with the scene. If any of these elements are lacking it can ruin the whole experience. If I just wanted to look at the pictures without caring about the story and characters, I wouldn't be playing a game, much less a R(ole) P(laying) G(ame). If you didn't come to this conclusion on your own, I doubt there is any way for you to understand this mindset. Some people like to get immersed into the world, get to know the characters, and see the impact their actions have on the game's world, not to mention how important dialogue is to any scene involving emotionally charged fetishes such as NTR, BDSM, or humiliation. Being able to understand what is being said isn't quite enough, because how it is said changes everything.

Or you use an exploitable girl to pimp her out, just saying the game says nothing about you being in a romantic relationship with her, other than being old "friends". So now pimping thots is categorized as NTR?
The examples listed there, imply that tha male and female characters are in an intimite romantic relationship, here you are simply folks who know each other since childhood.

, or it can simply be about a love interest (mainly main heroine besides the male hero) as seen here (didn't play the game yet so I can't confirm yet). This hgame isn't the first of its genre to be tagged as NTR and it certainly won't be the last.

Ahh yes, NTR and dialogue heavy games where the context is a lot of the selling point. Watching them get corrupted is the main thing but then you see it's MTL and all hope goes out the window. The sooner we get MTL tag the better! This is getting stupid now. I think people are shitting out MTL just so they can post them and get karma or whatever and so people won't pick them up for a proper translation. But that's just me being cynical I guess.
