Well, same illegal as downloading/pirating other trademarked products such as movies, other games music .
Very few devs of the games presented here have actually Trademarked their games (if any). They simply rely on copyright law, which varies from country to country and on the internet becomes even more of a gray area.

We actually did trademarked Wild Life so it falls not only under copyright as their is a certain retail value behind it.

*edit

F95 states that it is not responsible what users upload on this forum and its not regualting their users. Otherwise there would be no F95 anymore. I know for certain there are companies/publishers who would love to strike F95 down.

For us we accpeted the fact that people here pirate our game and we are trying to make the best out of it as we know how the internet works.. which not means we are happy about it but yeah.

For those who wonder about copyright and if devs care to act:

If you are stupid enough to get caught and devs see a chance to smack many people at once who work as a mobile pirate ship...you can almost bet your ass the devs will go for you. It's too expensive and time consuming to hunt down every little thief but a big catch...hell yes. :D

First priority are the uploaders but the roots are the consumers cuz there's no business without someone asking for wares. Basic rules for businessman.~

Seems like the recent update are going nowhere, why bother adding a jungle biome when the existing biome is not complete, no new quests were added just some random poses and most of them are variations of existing poses, i think i might leave this one for a while and see where it is in a year.

so youre actually fine with downloading your game for free? ive gone through your message history and really didnt expect you to say its fine as long as its not done through your patreon links. do you just not have the ressources or energy to go after piraters or do you just think people will like it and support it further/get a version at release? it just seems very odd, sorry if this seems annoying or something. i just really dont want to hurt your "business" in any way and would love so support you with 10 bucks which really wouldnt hurt me in any way. really enjoyed clips of your game on adult websites which made me research a little more but i cant have patreon where i live. you seem like cool guys so keep up the good work

Not getting payed for your work is bad in my opinion, but the perspective that people generally have, even some devs have on the topic, still confuses me, and if given a chance, I'd like to hear deeper on this perspective instead of the usual moral opinions most people have on it. There are tons of people that do pirate a game, but buy it once they like it. Nine times out of ten, if the people who pirate games for free had no other way but to pay for it to experience whatever product it is that they want to experience, they wouldn't buy it and take a chance regardless. Entertainment, in my opinion, is not a very accessible product, especially in the forms of movies and games. You don't know exactly what you are getting with entertainment products unlike other products you can buy.

I know buying practically anything has some sort of risk to it, and I'm not saying the perspective of the devs is wrong, and I do believe in supporting developers and people who work hard on their product, I just also have my own opinion. I tend to not see people who pirate as a potential source of income as I don't believe they would buy the product if that was the only option, so it'd be silly to think that in my view. Rather, I think the people who dislike pirating believes in the principle that "you must pay to play", which I will not say it's exactly wrong either, but it's not and never will be in any setting a foolproof method of getting people to buy something. If your product is good, I think people will pay for it regardless if they can pirate it or not, especially if it's a developing game, because paying for it will obviously make it better! This is just my perspective, I do not intend to offend anyone with my words.

I had in the past supported things like this with paid subscriptions, but in my experience, you don't get much bang your buck and it involves waiting for long periods before you get anything from paying. Back in 2012, I supported 3DXChat's development, with a $35 per month fee. I supported them for 2 months, and had no updates at all from them, during that time; hell you rarely even heard from them. And in the years since 2012, they really haven't accomplished all that much (I check up on them usually once per year). So, having gotten burned on 3DXChat, I've had no real interest in funding these kinds of endeavors.

Now, if there was a one-time fee structure, such as pay $60-75 USD (which is about 80 to 100 local currency), and get access to all $25 development builds, that is something I can see myself going for, but until something like that is setup, I'm not dropping money on the project. Especially as the content I like, comes few and far between with this project, so I often don't see anything new I like, even with new releases.

Content I like are: Large Beastman (2+ I like even more) on Human Female, Tentacles, Implied Non-Consensual (ie bondage), and Lots of Body Customization. None of these seem to be a priority, so supporting development month to month wouldn't work for me, even if I hadn't been burned by 3DXChat.

It is true that you guys have accomplished a lot of things in the past year, but at the same time, you've not accomplished much in the areas that I'd love to see more of. I believe the most recent build something that I liked was added, was 2 to 3 $25 builds ago (so 3-7 months ago).

My 2 cent about the piracy stuff is that i wouldn't know about a lot of games without F95, the good and entertaining ones end up on my support list while the bad ones don't.

edit: Also there where games where my first thought was "nah not for me" but when bored i gave them a try because they had so many positive reviews, and now one or two of them are in my Top5

First priority are the uploaders but the roots are the consumers cuz there's no business without someone asking for wares. Basic rules for businessman.~
What kind of logic is that? Root are the uploads, without uploads there can't be downloads, but not the other way around.

Also i'm pretty sure that a LOT of products exist which no one asked for, but smart business man made the consumers believe that they will need them. Just watch an hour of Teleshopping and tell me again that consumers create the market...

I concur on the whole finding out about stuff, via F95zone. I initially found out about Wild Life, because I was looking for a link to Likkez's new game (back in 2018), and ran across F95zone. It was at F95Zone that I learned of Wild Life. There is many games I've found here that I wouldn't have known existed if it wasn't for F95Zone (ie Meridiana, Alien Quest Eve, True Facials).

My stance on the "pirate" nature of the games posted here is simple. If With how many devs either milk their supporters with tiny updates strung out over long periods of time and those that simply abandon their games before completion, there's no way in hell I'd buy before I try any game. Convince me your game is good AND you'll finish it (before I need dentures and a walker) and then I'll happily support you with a purchase. Until then it's yo ho ho and a bottle of rum.
