No you can't roll back without mods or file edits. If you're using mods that allow that or if you're editing files you can't really complain that it messes up your game. There is a reason why the game doesn't have that feature.

Also, lol @ multi-routes. Have fun getting stuck for weeks on-end because 1 route says "do x" but another says "lol nope, do y instead, with the same girl on the same day and you'll get locked out of the town map for about 2 days"

I was speaking ironically because I know all this already.
Imagine claiming the game has a bug because of something a mod allows you to do (that the core game doesn't) which borks everything.

I really love this game, been following it since almost it's begining...well at least a few updates after anyway, but I have to say it pisses me off that if you roll back for anything, even one screen, it seriously screws up all of your quests. Was at the reward point for Dewitt, almost done with Bisette, almost done with Roxxy and a whole bunch of others, missed a mini-game perfect so rolled back (instead of loading) to start it again and boom, all the quests and standings with people were almost all the way at the beginning of them. Wouldn't be so bad, but it affected ALL of my saves which is the strange part. Has anyone else had this happen or am I just the unlucky one here rofl.

Well, I use rollback all the time, with care. Save often and only in the town map or in MC's room and never in the middle of a dialog. So if it would screw me one save (which it does as good as never for me) I still had a fallback. Also, my mod prevents you from rolling back too extensively; e.g. it is not possible or at least hard without explicitly trying -- everything can be tricked if you really want to -- to roll back over a location, time or status change.

And, no, if it screws all your saves (not just one) then someting else is going on. I remember that people claimed that before, but I never saw proof for it. So I doubt this is possible.

this damn game keeps backtracking when saves are loaded. im doing one questline at a time, currently was doing eve, saved in mc bedroom after i got to eve end and when loaded it took me back to waking the girls only now i cant get inside sugar tats.

I'd say the game is perfect and every bad thing that can happen is purely on you. But, that would be flamebait. So, the game is perfect and everything bad that happens is purely on you

And by "keeps backtracking", what exactly do you mean? Does this happen often? Do you start over or just keep playing your corrupted save?

No Mods, No unren, No cheats basically I finish a storyline, like with Eve will go into MC room to save. When I load it backtracked the save all the way to the Eve after party part where you check on Grace and Eve but when you click on the tat shop you cant get in and it says odette asked to check on girls. It has done this to other saves before, so is saving on the map better cause ive always saved in the mc room

Originally they did, but when patreon started to enforce their TOS it had to be changed.

Started fresh new pc fresh download, and its usually only 1 quest line that gets messed up, everything else stays on track this time it was eve and the tat shop
