Never paid for it so not angry, but nobody can deny that content was better at the beginning. Last time I really enjoyed this game was during Raven's training.
SR7 made a huge deal about the Prison and Yacht events, which were quite fun, but after one or 2 replays they are just slide shows.
Something is wrong in the gameplay, too. Training in cells was fun, but then you put them in the bordello and it's just like a reward gallery where you have nothing to do besides watching pictures. And I miss having to go in different parts of the city for quests, as basic as they were.
Also, I'm not a comics scholar nor have I watched the cartoons it's adapted from, and even I feel that stories and dialogues were better in the early days.

Anybody else want a more submissive Artemis? I'd like something more along the lines of MM or Batgirl.
Nah, the whole "Okay fine, but it's not going to feel good! Oh shit, it feels good... Gimme some more dick." attitude is what works best for her. She's a spitfire and for her to be submissive wouldn't make sense with her personality. Especially so for one based on the Young Justice version of her character.

content was better at the beggining? are you joking, high or both? the game spent almost 3 years in limbo, with a couple of blowjobs AT MOST. im not a fan of the overall design decision, but if you think it was better at the beggining because they had 3 animations worth anything, and one of them was a borked blowjob that's still borked to this day! i really have no idea what to tell you.

Yeah dude, I understand you. But think, if you are dissatisfied just cancel the patreon. They are paid $ 15,000 but have not hidden it from the public. After all, no one was forced to support them, you see?
Oh, I learned my lesson last time. I didn't preemptively subscribe at the end of June because I knew they wouldn't make it. I couldn't care less about the sychophants willingly giving their money to this shit, I get mad because there's a part of me that still looks forward to each update and it's fucking annoying that these guys never live up to expectations, but continually brag about how great they are at keeping their promises. Even if I took them at face value and Sunset really did suffer a terrible case of tendonitis, I'd expect the art to have been done first long ago and all they have to do left is coding and testing. But again, they won't hire anyone else, because god forbid someone helps them meet their deadlines but take even a fraction of their monthly rake-in that would set most people on a path to comfortable living. (I mean, fuck, even just splitting 15k in half is more a month than I make working 40 hours a week). I don't know how much living expenses are in Canada, but I know the U.S. dollar goes about the same over there.

I also really disagree with them getting rid of the release window, because I genuinely believe that that will just give them license to be as lazy as they want. No more expectations, they can keep making their money and put out as little as they want. It may be less buggy, but I guarantee you quality will not be any better.

Not talking of the very beginning, as I said I enjoyed Raven which was not 3 years ago.

but raven was not in the beggining, her content was from what? development "phase 3"?
I don't know which phase it was, didn't pay much attention to this. But I also enjoyed Lois and Mercy content which was way before Raven. Anyways, what I meant was not that it was better because "animation", it was fine but just a bonus to me. My issue with current content is more about gameplay and writing.

I can't be the only one to think that with $15,082USD/month (from their Patreon CAA 13/7/2020), they should be able to manage their studio a little better? I can't help to think about what's the endgame for the game here? Do they have a proper roadmap to finish the game, or will it progressively just keep getting bigger and bigger and then eventually abandoned...

There can't be that many business dev parts for Smokeshank to handle, so let's assume he's on part time.

• Let's assume Sunset is the only FTE on the project, and gives himself a nice comfortable salary of $6,000/month ($72k/year)

• Let's assume Smokshank works 2 days a week, and does 0.4FTE at the same rate, at $1,200/month

• Let's assume ~$2,000 goes to all the other mods on their Discord.

That leaves them ~$5,800 left as either a grievance fund, or to go to a full time developer. If they were serious about overhauling the game to rebuild it in another engine, that's a ~$69k salary to pay a full-time developer. I'm not trying to attack the devs (this is probably my fav porn game out there), but you could seriously avoid all this burnout, crunch time, and stress injuries if they simply properly managed the development of their own product.

It makes no sense for 1 guy to handle the art AND code for a project as large as this themself. If they're serious about the project, SR7 should handle the art, and bring someone else onboard ASAP to handle and rebuild the codebase. They also need a proper roadmap for finishing the game.

Actually no.The game was not better at the beginning. It takes 6-7 updates before even can be called a real game.
Do you know that in first version there is only Roulette,Tala,Mercy,Batgirl,Huntress and Black Canary?
Maybe around 1.7 with the intoduction of Supergirl,Hawkgirl and Wonder Woman it starts to be way better.
But still on that time(april 2017)there is almost nothing, not even the specials in GS.
Not talking of the very beginning, as I said I enjoyed Raven which was not 3 years ago.
Raven was february 2019 together with Miss Martian.
I think the last really awesome update was Batgirl-June 2019.

They are not getting 15K.You forget Patreon's cut,PayPal's cut and all taxes.Depending on country it's possible to end with only around 5K.
Nobody is paying 66% in taxes and fees on $15k (you're missing several zeroes for that to happen). Patreon and Paypal combined are at most 8%. IIRC GSG is in Canada where even as a business it's making "so little" that it would all be nontaxable in the end anyways (full refund of taxes paid) - plus small business incentives, claiming part of home as business used, etc., way more of that money is staying with GSG than you think.
Cool.Thanks for the info.
Still that is not 15K in their pockets.
Not to mention nobody is forcing anyone to support them.

I must be the only person who doesn't really care for animations. I'll take a hot still image as long as the context and dialogue of the scene is sufficiently hot. Them going back to animations just means less scenes in general which is not what I want to see.
I agree, I don't understand people saying they want animations or sound/music for games that don't have them or stopped adding them or removed them from a game that did. Especially ones that already have a hard time delivering updates on time and/or been accused of milking patron money. And you want them to add something that will stretch it out even more?

Pretty much. Game feels like it ran out of steam and ideas a few years ago and is just coasting now.
Apparently that is not truth, otherwise there wouldn't be so many posts about why the game get a delay and that the dev is a milker.
