Duder did get attacked by a vampire the first night he was there. That's usually not a treatment recommended at health clubs.

And she didn't took enough to put his life in danger. At that point in the game there was no reason to be wary of Clara.


Now it is another story. With her vampiric instincts not being supressed she is going around making new thralls and drinking a lot more of blood.
And since she enthralled the one nurse who smugled blood bags for her maybe she will start offering to turn the girls into thralls too (just like she is trying to do with John).

to play devils advocate here in this convo just let me say that you should look at the MC as being pretty stupid himself for taking a nice job he knows almost nothing about that is offering him a roof over his head and a crap ton of cash! in the real world (you know outside of adult games) things like that dont happen unless your gonna be harvested for your organs or become part of a human trafficking ring! just sayin!

sure the girls coulda gave dude a heads up, but dude coulda used common sense to say "hey, this seems too good to be true!" and usually if its too good to be true.. it usually is! then lets say none of this rang a bell or tripped the warning lights, you would think that when the MC saw Lurch get younger and all (those memories werent erased) he woulda said "fuck that shit, im out, but no he sticks around...!

so while you may think that some random girls our MC just met should just be all like "hey stranger, wanna know all the secrets of this place?" is just a bit of a far fetched notion! it may be true that they didnt tell him anything due to "loyalty" or some personal agendas, but its also not common practice in society to completely throw out everything about onself when first meeting them as well! this is best exemplified with Audrey. She was standoffish and leery of the MC and his motives from the start and took longer to warm up to him than the others did! this was the more normalish (for an adult game) reaction to the MCs presence as a new stranger at the manor!

basically, it boils down to the MC not being too intelligent to be able to avoid getting himself in the situation hes in in the first place and the entirety of everyone at the manor trying to hide things from the MC (be whatever reason that may be)!

That is one of the two main issues with this dev games. The story is only able to progress by making sure the protagonist is kinda stupid and ignore clues to what is happening even when right in front of his eyes. The same happened in Pine Falls.

A shame because he really is good at creating mystery stories for his games.

there are sections of the story where you can earn points toward Audreys relationship. id say to refer to the walk-through if you want exact points of reference. near the beginning of the game if you peeped on Audrey in the bathroom and failed (she catches you) then that will cost you a lot of relationship points with her!

Totally agree with this. The MC is really pissing me off now.....he`s like a complete Simp. Allows himself to be manipulated each and every way, just because a pair of tits tells him. Lola is a prime example....she blows up at him over the ring....waltzes in and eats Lemon`s food/soda (bitch) and in general acts like she might turn into a werewolf at any moment...I mean dude, she acts weird....they all do....any sane guy would be like "Screw this, I`m outta here!"
At the very least, show a bit of fire...
I hope the MC finds his balls a bit more in future, and when you have Lemon, who needs the other freaks

So what you are saying is, they should have turned their backs on the woman that gave them their lives for a guy they just met?

I'm not saying anything of the sort. Of course they would side with their mentor and protector, that's alright and understandable. I'm not saying they should have acted differently, just that in that situation I would't like to get into a relationship with any of them.

And it's not only the lying.

Audry was exesivly harsh with MC without reason. She later apologizes, which is nice, but I don't like people that mistreat others based on prejudices.

Lizzy aparently uses every new guy like a toy, I don't like that.

Lola makes a 180º judging the MC like he is the worst person ever when (ring excluded) he's been anything but helpful and nice, and she does so while knowing he is being lied to. She also apologizes, which is nice, but again I'm not going to get invested in someone that treated the MC like that just because she later on apologized.

Clara takes your blood without your consent. And her "there was an emergency" excuse is phony. Why didn't she asked any of the girls that know her condition and love her for a little bit oftheir blood? Why take the MC's blood like that?

Lemon story is very sad, but that doesn't change the fact that she used the MC and put him in danger.

As I said, only Mary is kind of alright.

Now, that doesn't mean I hate them or anything... but I just couldn't care about romancing any of them. As of now I just want to either leave the manor or do my job profesionaly and not get involved.

In any case, it's just my perception, of course everyone sees things diferently and if you find them apealing in a romantic way that's great. As I said, I like the renders and want to see how the story ends, but I don't think I'll be seeing much of the sexy content.

Such a great game, I feel conflicted about the blood drinking.

Its got a vampire in it, Blood drinking is pretty much expected. Would probably be a weird vampire game if there was NO blood drinking involved.

Started that game recently, I am at the point where the MC steals a ring for the disappearing maid. I am hooked on the story, the sex and girls are good too.
I really hope that up to the end of the current update much of the story is done and what remains is the fuck-fest...
