Is the download file in the original first post up to date or accurate?

Like all I need to do is download the game from there and then just update the translations via Arzorx' guide or is it outdated or modified in some way such as outdated game version or is using edited files not from Arzorx' translation that makes using their translation ineligible for that file?

Download file is for MGQ Paradox 2.23 Pre-Translated so you can play in English right after downloading it, if you wanted to compile the translation yourself you need the original Japanese Version.

Though I do release monthly translation roll-ups of Arzor-X's DokuDoku Amateur Translation Team progress.
You don't have to compile those just copy them into the main game directory overwriting the old files

Please forgive my ignorance but I've been immersed in exploring LOC down 6,000+ levels. I don't know anything about part 3 or about updates to translations. The last Arzor-X's translation I used was in July 2020 and can I just apply the new one to my current game folder? Also, I know you only have one "custom sword" but can anyone make a "change" to my save file so I have 2? Lastly, what's the point of Heinrich's Amor?

The decrypter was meant to get the files out of Game.rgss3a. Which at the least should have added a "Data" folder and "Grahpics" folder to the Main Game Directory. If you removed that file without extracting the data

"Graphics" Folder has 8,070 Files, 13 Folders and is around 1.90 GB

If you still have a copy of Game.rgss3a (since you have an out folder I would assume you have the Japanese version somewhere on your pc) then just extract that with the decrypter to get the missing Graphics files.

Or you could just download the decrypted copy on the front page if you didn't want to go through the trouble of decrypting things.

As for a crash at Valto's scene did it generate an errors.txt file or you have a screenshot of that?

You have to remove it in order to use new translation, otherwise game will use Gamergss3a outdated translation

And now that i think about it, when you were patching did you overwrite script files with the ones from bitbucket, or did you had nothing to overwrite? If nothing you did it wrong.

Quick fix is just grab the version from OP, and copy all graphics and use masterdragonson's prepatched data folder, which you put in your folder where game.exe is.

Depends I quickly summed up 8-31-2020 to 10-02-2020. Didn't mean to make it sound small as the Skillwords are a big ass text wall

That's also why I added a link to the commits so people could just go over the actual logs

Thanks for so thoroughly answering my questions. I didn't think anyone would respond. I put back the rgss3a file, then I dragged and dropped it into the decrypter exe program, and then I played the game and IT WORKED. I also now have a data folder where I didn't before and the Graphics folder count was 10,377 Files at 2.6 gigs( has part 1 event scenes). Keep in mind I did this in the copy of my "out" folder and not in the one I originally use (for safety reasons of course). Should I apply this to the main one now that it worked? I'm not sure what changed. I put the decrypter exe in the main game directory.No double "custom" sword?

You do not want to use rgss3a file or game will use old translation, also if you patched it yourself now, your version should be same as masterdragonson's prepatched files.

That's a good point. I moved that Gamergss3a to a "New Folder" that I created and the I replaced everything with the 10-02-2020 one. It's running fine but I really don't know if anything has changed. Also, got the save posted finally
