Ironically, I think this would have gotten the MC thrown out of the room once and for all.Yeah I would have loved if MC could have just looked at both, heard that they are girlfriends and then gone:

Well shit, however shall we overcome this terrible problem?" only for him to silently drop his pants at the end of that sentence and give them a shit-eating grin
We've (rightly) criticized the MC storming off as overly dramatic, but it did have the advantage of placing Maya and Josy in the position of having to work together to get the MC to talk to them again. That gave them a chance realize how much each of them cared about the MC, and time to shore up their own relationship before having to figure out where the MC might fit in. If the MC had tried to sexualize things right from the start, Maya would almost certainly have reflexively rejected him. Josy probably would have too, out of a fear that the MC would just see her as a short-term fling and she'd be left alone at the end.
The best option would have been to just sit down and have a long conversation about the whole thing then and there, saving us a lot of time and angst. But I'd say the MC's actual reaction was better than the Derek plan.

I believe that if he had not run away at the end of the clarification they would have gone their separate ways
the two girls would have had to face the blatant betrayal of the other (MC technically does not betray anyone), facing two shocks in one, without even having had time to clarify between them on the question of their relationship if still ongoing or not. keep in mind that despite having made peace that same evening, they have in no way dealt with their relationship with MC, completely blocked by fear (which seems to be their main motivation in sentimental matters)
Maya and Josy are still together only because they both cheated with the same person, otherwise it was a relationship without salvation.
shortly before the confrontation in the fourth chapter Josy says that in reality she has already made a decision, but she could still change his mind, I am left curious as to what it was.

Come on, I'm trying to eat over here.An eighteen year difference is pretty extreme and given the way Bella likes to sun bathe, she's going to hit the wall sooner rather than later. Although, some people just have good genes and she was clearly blessed by the AVN gods so it might just work.

It's because she literally just broke up with her boyfriend. Immediately jumping to another guy after is shitty, she needs time to get through the breakup. The whole time she's been putting a wall up between herself any feelings she has for MC.
She keeps claiming its only sexual frustration, that there's nothing more to it. Kissing him immediately after a breakup betrays that. Next update Sage's storyline will probably be her trying to come to terms with how she feels more than just friendship with him.
Or her suffering from COVID-23 and dying like a slowed down ending of Raiders of the Lost Ark. Thems the breaks with DPC.

It just dawned me, the mc is the rebound king. He hooks up with Maya because she's missing Josy, he hooks up with Josy because she's missing Maya, he hooks up with Sage because she's feeling neglected by Chad and he hooks up with Bella because the bloodied stump of her former husband lying motionless on a torture table in the locked room just isn't doing it for her anymore. And Jill, I guess after throwing herself at Tybalt repeatedly while he rejects her so coldly, she needs the MC to make her feel like a woman again.

That patch doesn't work, I pasted in onto my game folder but i still get version 5.2 on bottom left corner when i lunch the game.

It seems if you downloaded 5.2 from here back when it was available, the patch is not compatible and you need to download the full game (6.1 now I think) from scratch. I had issues with the patch too so just grabbed the full game. Happy downloading!
