Well, references to mythology are not necessary to understand the plot. You may not know anything about the ancient Sumerians, and still understand this story. And long conversations are just because I try to explain every moment in a very detailed way.

I have to say Katie is growing on me. I didn't really like her for a while. She's a classic (I suppose you could almost say generic) tsundere, but her family background issues, feeling the need to grow up faster than normal to protect her sister resulting in resentment against a mother she felt wasn't adequately fulfilling her role, etc, adds depth to make her anything but generic.
Interesting and well done update to be sure, but I'm starting to really feel the need for answers regarding MC and his background, his mother and Liv. Not at a point of frustration yet, but the antsy-ness is starting to rear its head for me. Looking forward to seeing how this all plays out.

We have all the answers we need ... mc be like archangel from xmen:
rich family into bioweappons - in this case warfare schematics and tactics,
running tests and honing the skills of her baby boy like storm lab head did to
his kids in latest fantastic 4 movie, where they get military training for their skills,
while washington decorated warmongers made plans to conscript them into guerrila warfare.
then hit relentlessly again and again, to a point the young boy just thought it was his life meaning,
that he healed totally and rapidly .. kind of like vash the stampede made miraculous recoveries from
bad injury. Gotta admit this, gamers, I do like my anime /movie / comic immagination to run wild.
Speaking of vash and his maniacal sociopatic brother, MC be tortured by his psyche, by his maker,
the babe goddess being his life meaning is still treating him like death fodder ...
sure thing this game is a testament to will, to survive, to immagine the bad or the good in everyone,
only just to make it to another sun set.

Don't get me wrong, i do very much love the game, but in the beginning MC going inside katie's dream and she being tied up and all was a bit confusing. Honestly I didn't even know it was a dream. But after a while you get to know what is really happening and i gotta say the story is well written. Thanks. That's why I'm asking what exactly is unclear in order to improve it. Well, the scene with Katie, and should have been confusing. At least, that's what I intended it to be. You must not have realized what was going on. And after that, I gradually began to bring you up to speed. I thought it would be more interesting this way. Intrigue is better than I would just dump a bunch of facts on you, right?
Or maybe not, with so many complaints.

And like some other gems around here, this game has something special about it that made me come back until I was hooked.
And especially in retrospect, I appreciate how you structured your story very much.
Nothing worse than a mystery with nothing to reveal on your way.
This is very well crafted and all, but I gotta admit it surpasses my level of patience. 12000 words in the .7 update - I believe that. The average length of a novel is 50-70000.
I read a lot, but in this context it's just too much for me. I fired up my Autohotkey clicker script that fires clicks at 50 ms intervals, I couldn't even read the text as it flashed by and it still took something like 15 minutes to just bulldoze through looking at the pictures.
Is this a good thing or a bad thing? I guess both. For me personally, just too dialogue/text heavy for a game off this site.

This update was very nice. Pixels gave us some other pieces of MC and girls past. I liked banter at dinner. It was pleasant and refreshing building of characters. The best comes at the end. We finally got the queen. Animations was great as always.
As for the confusion of the story at the beginning of the game. I think that it is mainly because it is game in development. The way we uncover various pieces of characters and story with witing, prevent me at beginning in understanding of same things. However, it works well now, when player can get at place with some answers.
Of course, the Pixels still hides a lot of pieces of the puzzle from us. But we already have some solid ground in search of answers to new mysteries.
i know this game since the first realese to be honest but when the magic kicks in to me the game turned out to be confusing like Lost you know ? i don't know what is going on or the mc is crazy or is a flashback or if the character is really there i don't know to explain how it make me just start to don't be hyped anymore until a stopped playing
