perhaps it would be time for f95z to consider some captcha/recaptcha steps, at least, for those opening new accounts?

KissKiss studio, A dev notes like: "Despite being a mind control game, the MC will fight against this power and the game won't be fast paced with the 3 main girls."
It would greatly reduce the complaints.
I prefer medium speed, as I see in your game, but it's always better to use DEV notes to clear things up.

You can always stay on f95 with a random name, just like a "player" or a "patron of game". And bring on the relevant game information (changelog / plans), without having to put up with stupid threats, possibly made by children aged 12-14 who are entering an adult site for the first time.

Nope. I'm sorry but still no...

Each time I play an update, I don't have the " Good thing the MC was here " feeling.

And Chloe is so.... eeeeugh. I guess the Dev will arrange things later with her but it gives me the same feeling as the sister of Chasing Sunset, it's already too late for her, I won't be able to like her anymore. Never.
It's the same with Chloe here. The dev make the story as we can follow what character is thinking or saying, so, from the start, we know that all is a trap for Chloe and in the end, it's like a waste of time to follow her being trapped.
And as the shitty character she is, you can't feel sorry for her futur "shock" when it will happend.
Instead, I would rather see how much she will suffer after her family will take the good decision to abandon her. She deserves nothing else. But it won't happen, right ? The beta brother is here to protect her...

Each time there is the Bright Lord coming to MC's mind, there is nothing good with that. It still " Obey me, you puny human ! " and the MC becomes some kind of shitty rapist. Why isn't he starting to takes mesures against it ? For how many times we will have to see it again ?

Five updates here, and there is no evolution at all. The game can be summarized in five sentences :
- The MC is possessed by some strange spirit and can do nothing about that but beeing obedient.
- The bad Megan is also possessed by some strange spirit and is plotting something bad.
- The MC's mom doesn't like Megan for some reason.
- The MC's sister Chloe is the biggest shit of this story and doesn't deserve to be saved, in any way.
- The MC's other sister is starting to fall in love with the brother.

It's like that since the previous updates. We have nothing new here. Each time we have something, it's always about Megan is bad, or Chloe is shitty, or the mom is desesperate...
And what the MC is doing ? Nothing.
And don't start with " Yeah but he killed the other man etc ", he wouldn't even have done it if BL hadn't pushed him to do it.


Okay, now, we finished on something that maybe, in the next update, we will have something " big " happening. I really hope so. Maybe after getting beaten miserably by Megan, the Bright Lord will FINALLY reveal some interesting things to the MC.
Maybe some things who will let the MC and the Birght Lord starting on a new basis, and he will stop raping his family/group.

Anyway, there is also some good points.
One of them is : I was pleasantly surprised with the scene between the mom and the little sister, with the lingerie. At first, when the mom started to talk about her past, I was like " Oh god, don't tell me she will talk about how much dicks she takes when she was younger ". But no, it was just about the father.
It was a good surprise, because we all know how much devs love to makes their females characters, with a slut past and all...
Good job on that one, dev.

Not only that, but also but on my part I am trying give each of the females an actual character identity and story arc. Not just make them a plaything 'devoid of heart and soul' that is there just for the MC to take out his frustrations on.

I think some players are forgetting that the girls and mother just lost a husband and father. This means they are dealing with some very real/though fictional grief.

This is a well to do family we have here. That due to recent events of the past has caused them so much pain. The MC alone is realising he hasn't been the best son/brother (if thats the choice you made to play the group as) and that is causing friction in the group dynamic.

So, with KissKiss Studios wanting to tell this story, my part is make the characters feel as real as possible. Otherwise its just a porn story where the MC walks in f's the person in the room and then end scene.

Thats not what a 'novel' can be. There is a balance as you said. And, I always laugh cause I want to point out the way the 'landlady' dresses. I mean who wouldn't be thinking 'what the f is my landlady dressed like that for?' Schwing!

I think the Dev really keeps the excitement going throughout this chapter well visually.

Whats the point of a game that is basically like every other game? That would lose the point of being it's own story.

I appreciate your other points, but there are virtually thousands of games a player can d'l for free to play on here with their own personal fetish or vice. Corruption has 90% of fetishes in it. But, I wouldn't ask him to change a thing or add something to it unless I was a patron and keen on a specific thing.

Also, remember there is almost an hours worth of gameplay in this chapter alone. Thats over an episode of tv.

In this episode we dealt with a heavy topic without trying to overplay or underplay the seriousness of it, especially remembering that last chapter it was the MC who was dealing with it himself: Depression.

In the end, the Dev has a vision and my purpose is to bring that vision to fruition with my writing, dialogs and edits. From where the game was at chapter 1 last year to now, its gotten better and better. I for one can't wait to sit down and play the completed game once all chapters are completed.

So is this thread going to get abandoned? or will it still get updated. As far as im concerned this is by far one of the better games on this site. I was seriously looking forward to an update and i have almost no complaints at all with it. Story is interesting, art is amazing, and there aren't any NTR (thank fuck). Its a shame that the kisskiss is getting death threats from some arseholes.

I've decided to retire my patches. I feel they're hack jobs since I don't know a thing about Ren'Py and don't have the time nor desire to learn about it and I'd rather not upload patches that are sub-par in their technical setup. I will leave the patch for v0.6c of the game here; the one for part 2 has been removed. I'll stick with making patches for personal use from now on.

I do believe the regex setup I've used to change dialogues is a nice method of approaching these patches, since most games end up with unnatural dialogue between characters when words like landlady and roommate are simply replaced. If you feel the same, feel free to reuse the expressions I've set up so far in a patch of your own if you like.

Is it wrong if I'm actively hoping that all the family gets killed?
All the women are totally yan-yan with not a bit of dere in sight and generally everyone is so utterly self-obsessed that probably wouldn't even notice if the person they were conversing with died in front of them, they'd just continue with their internal monologue without pause.

Only use this patch if you want to play in an incest context and are annoyed by the weird sentences.

Although the game allows you to define relationships, it will result in some extremely weird dialogue which I find incredibly off-putting. No sister would refer to her brother as "brother" all the time, but that's exactly what you get when you define such a relationship.

So what this patch does:

• Fix casing, since capital Mom, Sister and Brother really bug me when it's done mid-sentence.
• Depending on the wording, Margarie is called mom or mother and the father is dad or father.
• Chloe and Emily are called MC's sisters.
• Rewrite some sentences to remove brother or replace it with the player's name so they sound more natural.
• Rewrite some sentences that were just plain weird. Don't worry, there are plenty of those remaining, nor did I fix the overusage of comma's.

Other notes:

• Patch doesn't mess with core files, can be added/removed without issues and will work with future versions.
• You must define the relationships yourself when starting a new game; the patch will tell you what to enter. The original code is set up in such a way that I don't see an easy way around this without modifying game files.
• When loading an existing save, relationships are applied automatically.
• Of course the patch needs an update for future game versions' dialogues, assuming the current writing trend continues.
