Yes, but I repeat, you do not have to take what I write as an offense or aggressive stuff, I am very calm.
Happens to me as well all the time. My guess is that english might not be your first language. Because it's definitively not mine and I noticed tht for some reason, especially during discussions I sometimes give off that impression unintentionally. No idea why, but it's happened to me a lot in the past.

Games that haven't been posted in months or years are more discussed than this one, CoR doesn't get shit on? Alright, I already gave up on this topic a while back.
In a lot of those cases those game threads tend to be half full of people complaining how the game is dead and the devs are scamming everyone and the other half are people who sunk too much into the game emotionally or monetarily to admit that. I think we can both safely say you wouldn't enjoy that sort of attention. :)

Visions of the game? What do you guys know about that? If I don't know where and what CoR needs to do, who else? Then if you mean something else explain it to me.
It almost seems like the "Reset" post was not read/understood by anyone.
What reset post? I missed that one.

It's been a while since I last played this (0.15 I think). The last time I got through to getting set up in Exile and having the meeting with the girls in the meeting room and a couple of other things before I left off. I'm currently stuck in trying to get the meeting room event to trigger again on this new playthrough before I'm forced to jump into the code and the console to see what may be going wrong. No matter what time of day mc goes into the meeting room there's just a "back" option. All of the progression suggestions in the "girls" screen is to wait until after the meetup.

Some comments first though. The signals questing system worked pretty well for the first part, but there were a couple of gaps. One was needing to go back to Asmedia to collect the book in order to progress to the confrontation with Cleos. There was no hint in the signals that mc needed to do this. The other was there was no hint that mc had to go back and track down Estia for the alleyway confrontation with the two students. Meanwhile the quest event in signals opens about needing to get all 7 girls progressed when we have only met maybe 5 of them.

The nav system for getting into hidden city gets to be a bit annoying after the first couple of times. This is probably to trigger some events like the surveillance by the mystery woman and the auction, but there ought to be a better way when mc is traipsing back and forth to the repair shop.

Ok after jumping into the console and looking at the trigger for the meeting event, I see I'm still at sheilaEvent 4. It's the clue for her here that is misleading me. The "after the assault" thing is referring to an event that had happened for mc quite a while back and it would always be well before mc gets Exile up and running. I was thinking that there would be yet another assault to deal with before I could find her again. Maybe it should just be "Get all the other girls housed in Exile and then go look for her in the afternoon in the shopping district".

Actually maybe the meeting event should be its own signal with the hints being get all of the girls into the house and then go looking for
Sheila.

Why does it feel like this ui got more clunky... It takes more clicks to get from point A to point B now.

Let's look at the exile main navigation. Is there really a reason to have it hidden?
I could see if one of the girls at random were laying on the bed at various points throughout the day but otherwise if the player wants to move somewhere the click that first. Being able to toggle this would be nicer instead of resetting it as I move around.

Now if I want to go outside I need to scroll over to the far right then click outside. Perhaps a little button next to the Home one that leads outside would alleviate this but as of this update it inserts another click. Could make all the buttons smaller so they fit in one bar and a tool tip for the text hover so you get the big words without so much space being taken up. Just streamlining it so more clicks are needed doesn't really help with
The exile nav is cleaner now
For the bed could you just add an option to go to sleep, call it a day, or something else instead of slowly moving from one time block to the next? If I'm told to come back tomorrow then I'm done for the day and want to skip to tomorrow not oh it's noon, afternoon, evening, and finally midnight which will start the next day. That's a lot of clicks for "sleep to the future". The less aggravation for the player to get a simple task done the better.

As for outside well content was added to Dusk City so time to harp on that.
Unless the teleporter hub gets expanded within the next couple months for a new city then it only joins Exile & Dusk City so there isn't much reason to choose between them as if you clicked on it you want to go to Dusk City and when you leave you want to go to Exile. It might be practical when new locations are added but until then however you could save some trouble by adding a teleporter as an Exile room expansion. Even then a galactic map would appear more impressive.

Is there a good reason to shift the menu buttons from center view to off to the side? Unless the location is doing something interesting it's more inconvenience. Bouncing boobs are pretty but a ghost town is not as it's dead, static, and dull. While I get the feel of roaming through a city it just adds more clicks and it is harder to navigate when half the options are in the center while the other half are off to the side. The menu should make navigation easier not harder. Instead of slowly navigating to the locations take Main Street, it's sub locations are all options unlike go down this street, then this one, I know it's a single point node but you still got to click through it all to finally get to the shop where you can work. Funny thing with Main Street is I went there to jot down my point, seen a really cute girl, then poof back to Exile which if I wanted to go somewhere why teleport me back home? There is a teleport to home button in the top right if I really wanted to go back and if I had any other business in the area well I've got to do the click chain all over again.

That's about it for busting your balls with clicks. How long until the catgirl starts giving licks?
Because besides the ui complaints the content was nice, really wish you would focus more on that instead of redesigning the ui based off focus testing on people that really like the backgrounds but don't understand what the H key does.

Oh great, I decide to wait for a couple of dozen updates to let the content build up in order to try this game again and it goes 7.4.x...

Is there any way for me to convert this game back to 7.3? I tried the method of taking the "game" folder and putting it in a folder with Ren'Py 7.3 but it does not work...

I have a problem opening the game, at the start after pressing yes on the adult choice, this shows up. Anyone have a fix?

Code:
I'm sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred.

While running game code:
File "renpy/common/00start.rpy", line 234, in script call
    call _splashscreen from _call_splashscreen_1
IOError: Couldn't find file 'video/welcomein.webm'.

Not me, I get an exception after verifying I'm over 18. Missing video/welcomein.webm. Edit: after three Ignore the game started! Second edit: Loaded from Mega.
