hello, what can be the problem that some scenes freeze and you can not continue with the game just restarting. For example in the game The Office wife when I have to take the train the game freezes no matter what moment of the game I do. Does anyone have any idea what it could be?

You need to provide actual, decent evidence of the problem, to make it as easy as possible to troubleshoot you.

* Original Game Thread and the game's version you use
* Savegame right before the bug occurs
* Instructions of what to do so the bug occurs
* Screenshot of the bug occuring

With that information, I could dl the game, rebuild it in the engine, import your savegame, and then check the dev console for what the actual ingame errors are and where the game is breaking.
Without that info, I'd have to compile all the above stuff myself across hours of work.
Not going to happen.

If you want people to help you, you need to make it as easy as possible for them. Otherwise you're just asking them to waste their time so you won't have to.

If you can provide the stuff listed above, tag me and I'll take a look.

I trust this is a very common mechanics in RPGM games, but given I took up RPGM just yesterday, I have not yet discovered how to do it.

Thank you very much! This works right out of the box on RPGM MZ. You saved me a massive amount of time and fixed a major issue. The devs should include the "MessageHide" plugin together with the purchase. Beyond me why they don't. Grrr!

Haha, that's how I feel about a lot of features, like the Instant Text plugin, or a save system that isn't barebones.

Good to know it works on MZ. Not all MV plugins will. I have no experience with MZ but my understanding is it's very similar, with some new features and fixes... and some new bugs.

Hey so when I try to launch Ana by Pikoleo all I get is blank white screen. I tried everything possible from installing the dll file people suggested to updating graphic card drivers, nothing solved it. Anyone has another fix ?

I'm not sure RPG Maker games normally use the GPU at all, unless they use some plugin that is intentionally coded to. I think some lighting plugins do.

It depends on the RPG Maker.
Not sure about VX Ace & the predecessors, but starting with MV, the graphic render by default is webGL, which uses the gpu. It uses canvas render as a backup if the gpu is unable to handle it.

So by default, MV and MZ absolutely use the gpu, if they can.

Oh, my problem got solved. For some reason the image was saved into the image.html and I just deleted the lines pertaining to the icon and it was resolved. Everything is fixed now, no more monkey icon.

How did you do that,I got the same problem as yours after I played Abandoned village reclamation of Princess Ponkotsu Justy.

Help wanted;

I am playing a RPGM game ( Threads of Destiny )> The game running okay accept the sex secnes does not show up on the screen. Its just BLANK black Screen and only the commends are wriiten see attached 1. And also some times a black screen cover the charector. Attached 2.

Does anyone have a solustion to it

I have had some issues with games crashing at specific points, and managed to trace it to the bundled GStreamer version in wine. If this happens, you can safely disable gstreamer by running winecfg in your prefix, and adding a DLL override for 'winegstreamer' (set it to disabled). This has worked flawlessly for me with a lot of crashes and has no negative impact that I have been able to find.

Oh boy you just saved me here, I've been recentrly having a problem where any VX Ace games crash eventually either starting out or on a new game, and this seems to solve the issue. Can you tell if this is something of a install mismatch of library versions (from the dependencies)?

Anyway, its still strongly recommended to use a japanese locale when playing japanese only games, you don't need a emulator, just prepend the command with the locale, a lot of games will have weird issues when not doing that.

Not entirely sure tbh; I assumed the problem was that wine emulates an older version of the gstreamer API than RPGM is compiled against but that's just a guess.
