It's really not that unrealistic for someone to be in jail for 20 years for a crime he didn't commit. Happened and happens a LOT. Especially involving a rich guy hiding his own crimes.

Not sure what went wrong but this didn't work for me. Although I have two files that have the same name except one is .rpy, and one is .rpyc.
Guess I did it wrong.

I guess it all depends on the country. Here, for example, it isn't easy that, unless the intruction judge is very convinced that the accused is guilty, he sends him to preventive prison. In addition, it's necessary that there is suspicion of a) possibility of escape, b) destruction of evidence and / or c) recidivism in the crime. If he is accused of homicide (a different category of murder), it isn't easy for him to be sent to preventive detention, and he would not enter jail until there is a firm sentence (that is, once the possibilities of appeal have run out), he would first appeal to the provincial court, then second the superior court of justice of his community and then finally the supreme court (and in some cases, if the accused believes their fundamental rights have been ignored, to the constitutional court). Only after the latter or if there are no appeals would the sentence be final and he would go to prison (normally voluntarily, without the police going to arrest him). In fact, any of these courts could pass judgment contrary to the original and determine that he is not guilty. In which case the prosecution and the private acusation could appeal said sentence before a higher instance until reaching the supreme court.
Of course, that doesn't mean that there are no mistakes and that, being innocent, someone could end up in prison.

I noticed that too and was looking in here to see if anyone else mentioned it. I thought I had accidently clicked past the kissing scene and was like "what the heck! missed my first kiss with my hot blonde daughter!" Replayed it and nope, no kissed happened. Figured it had to do with talking with Teagan and replied that scene with Felicia there. Yep, got the kiss that time.

Yeah, for sure, not all countries are that fucked up, fortunately. I considered the game to be somewhere on the US, which is the usual, so in that case it wouldn't be strange for something like this to happen. But in a country with a not so corrupt system i'm pretty sure things like this wouldn't happen easily.

Here the judicial system is very guarantor of the rights of the accused. If the judge isn't convinced that there is sufficient evidence, he can archive (definitively or temporarily) the case and wait for the moment when there is more evidence. Investigations are directed from an investigating court, and generally it's the judge who orders the actions to be carried out by the judicial police in each specific case. Although both the prosecution, as well as the defenses and the private or popular accusations (if any) can request (or ask to include) the judge specific evidence or reports, which he will accept or not (and whose decision may be appealed by the rest of those involved).

STUPID, POINTLESS DEGENERATE WHINE-POST INCOMING:
This is one I'll keep an eye on. I'll play non-incest games and, if the story and sex and/or violence are good, I'll enjoy it. I'll play incest games, as that's my biggest fetish, and even if the story and sex scenes aren't that great, if the fetish is catered to decently I'll still have a gay old time. But 'step' is that crevice between the two that I just can't fit into. It's the tofu turkey, vegan cheesecake, Sugar-Free Coke, guilt-free substitute "I Can't Believe It's Not Incest" incest, and I have an unnecessary, aggressively negative reaction everytime I see the word 'step' used in this context.
Darper graciously made a mod that fixes it for whiney, entitled li'l bitches such as myself, but unfortunately this is also a points based game, and one that mentions at the beginning, you won't see scenes if you just focus on raising your score. So if I want to see what the game has to offer, I'll need a walkthrough (or dedicate an amount of time testing branches that I'm not willing to divert away from other perverse ventures). RIC0H, always dependable, has kindly made that walkthrough, but had to remove the incest patch early on because updates were fucking it up, so as to maintain the integrity of the walkthrough itself. So I can either play through the game as a step, not paying attention to any of the text, only learning the routes from RIC0H's walkthrough, THEN switch it out and play through properly with Darper's, hoping that his mod doesn't break with further updates.
Or I can simply wait for the game to be finished and hope that at some point afterwards, it's modded to support both green text goodness to guide the way, and removes any mention of step. And that is what I'll do.
This small mountain of stupid does not deserve to be a review, especially since I haven't played through all the content currently available, so I'll just leave it here as a comment to annoy random passersby, and also add that while the environments are a bit too heavy on grain and the music is VERY present, almost overbearingly so, the girls are cute, well designed, the writing appears to get the job done and the fact that there is music at all is nice. I genuinely wish the dev luck, and to everyone that possesses the ability to enjoy the game as is, I hope it continues to do well, and that you have a great time with it.

Don't left-click on the file. Right-click, save it and drop it in the 'Game' folder.

Ahem. Partially my bad there, always been directionally retarded. Do not attempt to read the file. Save the file. The "huge page of script" is what you need to save.
Left-click. Save As. 'script.rpy'. Take the file. Put the file in the game folder. Play game.

I’m creating a plug-in mod for the game, for players who only want the story.
"Read" mode: You only need to make one decision: whether your character should be romantic or a rude man. Then all you have to do is read the story and you get all the scenes for that route.

So if I want to enter the dom route I need to have a negative affection value with the respective girl, but if I have a negative value with all 3 of them I get a game over? So I can never enter the dom route with all 3 of them at the same time, do I understand this correctly?

Played it, it's on a decent course at the moment obviously heavily inspired by MNF gameplay wise which is not a bad thing at all. Tegan and Felicia are probably my favorite atm (love Felicia's toe in her pink shorts 
), the rest of the girls are attractive and seemingly have good personalities. I have reservations about Chloe, her model is super cute but the neck and face tats are a huge turn off and she's apparently a drug dealer who gets mad at her dad for punching a kid in the face who is sexually assaulting her which is just dumb. I get it she's got a hustle but that whole thing just made me dislike her. Here's hoping we don't have to see potential LIs getting felt up in the future and if we do they don't get mad when we do the right thing and defend them. I really hate to admit it but I'm more put off by the snakes on her neck and face than I am her being dumb. Don't judge me too harshly.
I think the weirdest part of the whole thing for me is the story overall, I get there needs to be a reason for the dad to be gone for 16 years but murder? Whether he did it or not and obviously we know he didn't, it's so unbelievable that all of these women young and old a like are so willing to just go "Yea we either haven't seen you for 16 years or just met you today but we totally believe you didn't kill the guy you got convicted of killing. Oh by the way my maybe 18 year old anorexic daughter is next door alone and I've gotta go to town for a couple hours could you go hang out with her please? What's the worst that could happen?" Could he not of been ship wrecked or missing in action or hell I dunno anything but prison for murder?
Don't get me wrong I'm still going to watch the thread because let's be real the two elder daughters especially Tegan with that nice bush and their friends that have been introduced so far are cute and I think I was given an option to turn on hairy pussies which I'm all about I'm just hoping at some point the plot starts making a little more sense.
Oh side note I renamed Felicia and in a couple scenes on their walk through town she was referred to as Felicia and it took me way longer than I care to admit to realize who the hell Felicia was. Just wanted to let you know that error is there. Good luck.
