Increase the speed of the animation and the scene will move on it's a new feature Faerin has added to the animation

I think a lot of users are going to get stuck in the loops. While it is in the release notes for this release a lot of people are not reading it as evidence by all the posts previously asking when the release day is. Also, what is going to remind people about it in future releases? IMO, I think there should be a button that says to continue.
On a similar subject, an exit button on replays would be nice too. Some replays are very long. Sometimes I only want to see part of it but have to go through the whole replay before getting back to the game.
Just my $0.02. Those are minor compared to how great this game is. The art is amazing and shows attention to detail.

Well, the issue here is that in some cases, players have had to disable the "Play videos" function in the Settings screen; mainly because a lot of older video cards/GPUs couldn't play the animation.. that was before Faerin made some fixes to allow them to play on older hardware. So some players may not have gone back into Settings to enable it again. My colleague has already informed Faerin that some players who are still not able to play the animations will run into problems when it comes to those scenes. In situations like that, we would need the save to unlock those two events as there is no other way around that until Faerin comes out with a fix (either a hotfix or wait for the next update).

Not quite the same as an "exit" button, but Faerin puts the CTRL skip functionality like some know from RenPy into his games, so you can go through it rather quickly.

No, it would have the "completed" tag if the game was finished. The "full" means that it has the full key which allows you access to the cheats console.

Thank you for the report. I tried that myself and got the same thing. So I've passed that on to Faerin.
EDIT:
Go into the Settings screen and make sure "Remember previous shift assignment" is checked.
