Forgive me off-topic, but I've been on this forum since its beginnings - same with this game. And I think I even mentioned this already, but this game, as many other titles with a handful of exceptions, is a symptom of a broader issue with our societies: not understanding the basic concept of product market anymore. Nowhere in the realms of sanity and capitalistic relations would anyone pay an installment to the vendor who breaches the deal and does not deliver. One can argue that patron-artist relation is different, and perhaps rightly so. But despite his genius, even if Mozart kept failing on producing new pieces for the events, he would be kicked out from the palace and go to the dogs. All in all, reading comments on the verge of masochism draws somewhat devastating picture, together with the 'pandemic' response and the praise of socialism in the West..

My thoughts ENTIRELY. People in this forum or other discussion outlets are ABSOLUTELY at liberty to criticise, comment, submit suggestions on AWAM or any other game enterprise, whether they subscribe to it or not. Indeed many already do subscribe, or have been long and generous subscribers to AWAM in the past, so therefore perfectly entitled to a voice.
Neither do they approve of this attempt to being bullied into what they can or cannot do.
A critical voice, if fairly and constructively applied, is not only perfectly valid and routine in the real world, but can be extremely heathy in promoting, improving or even saving a game like this one from obscurity. Withdrawing anyone's right to comment or criticise would be an appalling thing to do.
i am of the opinion that we will no longer get day20 because he has given up by then . who bets against it!

The game is lost in that sense because everyone believes that the developer should implement your ideas. I remember before the last update when most were convinced that Dylan would be preferred, but Sam came out on top. It will be the same situation this time. The outcry will be bigger after each update. You then blame the developer for everything, partly true, but many of you need to step away from the game.

This, again, is such a weak reply from L&P. Almost reads like he's trying to blame his helper(s) for the lack of progress this time around, just so people can't blame him for these terrible past few weeks. Makes me extremely curious to see what exactly they're doing for him that takes so much time.
I've already mentioned it in my previous post, but if he really has to wait on his helper(s) material, why not work on the photoshop and translation/programming part instead, and keep the 0% progress days to a minimum?
If there are any more regular scenes/renders he's working on, how come there's so little progress? I just don't get it. Maybe I'm the one missing something here, but all of this sounds like he could have easily catched up on the PS+P&T parts after all these days without progress, if he's already at the end of the bonus event. Like, what is he even doing during the day?
This reply is just frustrating to read.

What even is your point? If people speculate on upcoming events and which characters might be involved, that doesn't mean anyone believes that their ideas should be implemented. I've never read a post of anyone saying something like "Yeah, THIS has to be implemented. THIS has to be done!". It's mostly just that, speculating on upcoming events. I don't even remember anyone saying that Dylan would be somehow preferred in the previous update. It was pretty clear early on what the update would be about. Most people were talking about the Sam event and what it could result in, mostly based off the teasers we had. No clue what "outcry" you're talking about, but the majority of people were quite happy with the content in the previous update, except for maybe the way L&P hyped up the "concert" event, which turned out to be pretty weak. Well, and some discussions about the whirlpool scene with Sophia and Sam. There are always people who like and dislike things, I feel like that's pretty normal.
The single biggest point people blame the developer for is his snail speed when it comes to development cycles, and how they're getting worse every year. You are free to think whatever you want, but if people need to step away from the game or not doesn't matter, it is their decision anyway.
